Recap of Chloe and Philip with Daniel walking in saying, "Keep what between the two of you?"
Mel invited Arianna to hang out at the lake and brought a picnic with three set-ups, aaaannnd up walks Brady.
Daniel says that if he didn't know better he'd think they were keeping something from him. Really Daniel? Doh!
Nicole tells E.J. that Sami will listen to and believe her about what E.J. did.
Philip tells Daniel that he found out about Chloe's pregnancy and came over to congratulate her and that she was concerned because they were trying to keep it a secret.
Ari and Brady both tell Mel (in single minded speak by the way) that she doesn't know all of their problems and that they aren't getting back together because she tricked them into being here together. She says they can go if they can look her in the eyes and tell her they don't love each other.
Daniel accepts Philip's feeble explanation and when Philip leaves Chloe tries to make sure that Daniel isn't mad at Mel for letting the news slip. He says that he's not mad at her, but if he knew she was his daughter before she got married that he would have done everything he could to keep it from happening.
Mel gets Ari and Brady to admit they care about each other and to talk. Then she begs out of the picnic which although it had 3 place settings apparently had only enough food for two. She's such a little romantic.
Daniel points out to Chloe that she's always upset after she talks to Philip. He asks her to consider putting a little distance between herself and Philip. She looks stunned.
I think that Sami is being hard enough on Nicole that Nicole might just decide not to tell Sami out of spite.
Philip brought flowers for Melanie. Seriously he exhibits soooooo much 'abuser' behavior. Carly needs to save her daughter. :D
Daniel asks Chloe if she's considered that her being around Philip might make him a little bit uncomfortable. Chloe actually says, "You have no reason to be jealous." Wow.
Brady and Ari are talking, but the second she mentions Nicole you can see him stop listening.
Chloe is making a very good argument against Daniel's jealousy over her friendship with Philip. That is IF she hadn't SLEPT with Philip while she was MARRIED to Daniel. Wow (again).
Philip confesses to Mel that Daniel found out that he knew about the pregnancy.
Ari points out that Brady's walls came up when she mentioned Nicole. He tells her that he can't believe that she's listening to anything E.J. says. Brady says that Ari doesn't get him and Nicole. He says that he has to get up every morning and make a decision to be sober. He says that he can't abandon Nicole because she's weak. She's not strong like Ari. He says that Arianna is innately strong. She says that he doesn't get that she sees him as a strong person too because he makes that choice every day. Ari gets called away to work. Brady asks her before she goes if she wants to finish their conversation later or does she think they're done. She gets teary eyed and says that she thinks they're done.
Mel lets Daniel know that Vivian stopped by today. He wants to call a bodyguard for Mel. She says no.
Chloe tells Daniel that he's the most important thing in the world to her. He says that he loves her too and they hug. Then he tells her that he was already riled up when he got home because he just came from talking to Vivian. Chloe tells Daniel that Vivian is the one who planted the seeds of a Carly/Daniel affair in her head. Daniel ends up apologizing for not believing Chloe back then.
Ari and Gaby and Nicole and E.J. and Sami are all on the docks getting ready for a live broadcast. Oh, and now Brady is there too. I don't know what's going to happen, but can it please move this plotline along? Pretty please?
Mel thinks that maybe now that Maggie's Myasthenia Gravis is in remission that maybe they can look for a house of their own now. Mel tells Philip that she is thinking about them having a child.
Daniel says that he's grateful that Philip was there for Chloe when he himself wasn't. She contemplates telling Daniel now that he understands her state of mind at the time. She of course is speaking in vagaries and I'm sure we're being led like puppies only to be smacked on the nose in a minute for believing in forward story movement.
Nicole brings up to E.J. that the docks are where he tossed Sydney's bloodied clothes into the lake. E.J. is paralyzed with fear. It's kind of fun to see. :D
Mel reassures Philip that she's not talking about right now, but that finding Daniel and being a new big sister has gotten her thinking that families aren't so bad. Can I just say, 'Philip's an ass.' Okay, thanks, I needed that.
Nicole is on camera and announces that she's here to report on what was up until now an unsolved mystery.

Carly is leaving Adrienne's apt and runs into Chloe. Carly is still trying to figure out what Chloe's so angry about. Chloe isn't so much with the explaining. Hotel guy is talking to himself at The Cheatin' Heart and Dr Dan grabs his lapels and says to tell him who made him lie.
Viv is at the hospital and Maxine stops her. Viv is looking for Victor and Maxine says that he doesn't want to be disturbed. Viv threatens Maxine and Max points her to Maggie's room. Vivian listens at the door.
Arianna is on the couch and Brady has his head in her lap, she's stroking his hair. Mmmm. I bet that feels good. I love it when people play with my hair. Relaxes me, outs me to sleep. Love having my hair shampooed and the stylist too. :)
Nicole confronts Baker who puts on an Aussie accent. She wants to know why he's alive since she framed his obit, and he wants to know why she's not in prison "You little baby thief!" Hehehe. good times. :)
Carly is still in the dark with Chloe. She won't tell Carly anything other than that her little plan failed.
Hotel Guy has figured out why Daniel is questioning him. He still maintains that he doesn't know Chloe.
Maggie tells Victor, "Please, no more thanks." Vivian walks into the room and says, "I agree" she's very suspicious of Maggie and Victor. Hehehe. And Jealous too. :D She tried to get Victor to leave with her but he won't because he and Maggie are in the middle of a conversation.
Brady needs to go to the police station, Arianna wants to go with him.
Avenger is getting dressed to go play and sees Ciara stir in bed. She pauses until Ciara goes back to sleep.
Dr Baker says that he was 'dead-ish' Nicole says, "Dead-ish?" He says, "I was a version of dead." Ha! lmao
Daniel is getting frustrated with Hotel Guy and getting now where.
Victor tells Vivian to leave Maggie's room and she finally does.
Hotel Guy is not happy with Vivian about Daniel manhandling him. He's warning her that Dr Dan is not going to stop digging. He says that he's leaving Salem for good.
Dr Dan calls Chloe as she's walking into the hospital. Vivian eavesdrops.... surprised? :)
Nicole: "If you don't tell me how you went from dead to undead..." he starts trying to placate her. She yells, "How come you're not dead?!?" ... flashback I think he 'didn't kill' himself on Santo Domingo. That room looks a lot like Arianna's room where she and Brady went for their almost wedding. He injected himself with a drug that slowed his heart rate to make him appear dead. Nicole tells Dr Baker they still have to discuss his more recent activities. He starts to deny and she holds up the money clip. Oops. Busted! :D
Chloe is paranoid that Carly is poisoning Daniel against her when he changes their dinner plans. Poor Chloe.
Roman tells Brady and Arianna that the tri-swirl is a sign of female empowerment.
Carly runs into Avenger at the park. Avenger: "Hey! Hi. :)"
Carly: "Hope?!?" I don't want to deal with this right now on top of Chloe.
Avenger: "Carly, it is so good to see you. :)"
Carly: "Hhhuuuhuhuh." You know that little whimper, I'm dealing with a psycho and have to tread lightly not really a word noise that Crystal does so well? Yep, that one. She just did that. Hehehe. Then she tilts her head to either side, "It's good to see you too, but I really should be going."
She starts walking again and Avenger puts her hand up to stop her. Carly automatically stops and takes a step back.
Avenger: "Wait, not yet. I was really hoping that we could talk, chat for a couple of minutes."
Carly: Here it comes. "You wanna chat?"
Avenger looks wounded by the implication, "Yeah. Look I know. I know, we have definitely had our issues, but I've really been thinking about that. A lot lately, and..."
Carly: "And....?"
Avenger: "Well, I can honestly say with all my heart that I don't hate your guts anymore. You're a decent well meaning person, and I can see that." Carly gives the 'fair enough' eyebrow raise. Avenger says, "I'm sorry, it's just that you look shocked."
Carly is mouth agape for a second trying to form the right words, "Uh. Why wouldn't I be?"
Avenger: "Haven't you ever changed your opinion of someone?"
Carly! :hug She's trying so hard to not spook the obviously crazy person. She keeps her tone even, "I have. I absolutely have. But not quite so suddenly."
Avenger: "There's nothing sudden about this. Like I said I've given it a lot of thought."
Carly I need to get out of here NOW. "I see."
Avenger: "And I realized that I have ... judged you...so unfairly. And I'm sorry. Truly. I'm being sincere. I'm not playing a game here."
Carly: "Okay, so you say that you judged me unfairly. Does that mean that..."
Avenger: "It means that I ... I no longer blame you for what happened with my husband. Not in the least."
Carly isn't buying it but is cautious.: "That's quite the 180."
Avenger (waaay too smiley): "Well like I said. I've had a change of heart."
Carly: "Attributable to what?"
Avenger: "Well I guess you could say that ... I have finally gotten some perspective on things. Figure out where the blame really lies."
Carly give the eyebrow again. She's trying to figure out what's going on. I think she might crack this case open before the Salem PD does. :D
Nicole to Dr Baker: " At least now I know what you've been up to 'you who should be dead'" lol
Roman has to leave the station to take care of something. Arianna and Brady say that they'll wait there. Arianna and Brady are fighting about Nicole again.
Baker lets it slip to Nicole that his partner is the one who cal the shots and that it's a 'she'. :)
Carly: "So you feel the blame lies with...?"
Avenger: "With Bo. I mean, he's the one who did this to me. It's all on him."
Carly: laughs, but not incredulously, mustn't scare the crazy person: "Hope? Have you talked to Bo about this, your 'change of heart'?"
Avenger: "No. Why would I? Why does it matter?"
Carly: "Why would you? I.... Honestly I don't feel comfortable talking about this knowing you haven't told him."
Avenger: "Then you tell him."
Carly: "Me?"
Avenger: "Or not. Whatever." glances at watch "Oh, listen I've got to get going. I don't want to be late. If you ever want to get together again and chat some more, I would love that. So, um. Just give me a ring. Carly, thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate it." She hugs Carly. "Thank you."
Carly is completely stunned and is trying to work our what the h e double hockey sticks just happened when Daniel comes jogging past. Carly thinks that Chloe told Daniel about the run-in in the hall. Daniel tells Carly that there is no truth to what Chloe is saying, that she's dead wrong. Chloe of course over hears 'cause she's lurking about the shrubs in the park.
Dr Baker tells Nicole to lay off a bit and she threatens to turn him into the cops.
Daniel is upset that he doesn't know what's going on with Chloe. Carly puts her hand on his arm to calm him. Chloe walks away before C and D finish talking.
Maggie and Victor are doing more friend bonding. :)
Gus calls Vivian with news that she may have hit the jackpot.
More Arianna and Brady arguing. He kisses her quiet. Nicole walks in and is not happy.
Daniel tells Carly about Chloe's hysterical pregnancy and that she's probably feeling off balance since it happened right before Carly told him about Melanie.
Dr Baker tells Avenger that it's over. Then she says that it's not because no one will suspect her, but that he's on his own now.
Vivian tries to convince Chloe that they can help each other in dealing with Carly. Chloe needs to keep looking at her all suspicious like.
Nicole calls Dr Baker with a plan and tells him that she won't turn him in if his next victim is Arianna Hernandez. Ha!

I'm very intrigued by Kate and Maddie's history, and their scene in the park was ...... not exactly helpful in making past love interest speculation go away.
Need more Carly. How about this NBC? We acknowledge that Crystal needs some days off, so hows about when the need arises you fill in the holes with some Classic Carly stuff.
Chichen Itza anyone?
Opening on Nathan and Stephanie kissing does not a happy Christi make.
Ooooo! Rae the homeless woman is getting checked out by Mel. She has Steph's birth control pills! Hehehehehe.
This is gonna be fun! (Or at least has to potential to be.)
Ha! I love that Calliope thought Sydney was Stefano's wife! Anna and Calliope are fun!
Rae wants to see Cinnamon. Heehee. Cinnamon is her invisible cat.
And Mel has found Stephanie's pills. Dun duh dunn!
Okay, Maggie's comment of "Stephanie, you're practically glowing." Doesn't work if she JUST decided half an hour ago to stop taking them.
Ha! Nathan and Stephanie walk into Rae's room and Mel makes sure she's hanging on to the pills.
It was a very cute convo with Mel and Rae too.
There is sooo much 'bling' in the drinks that Calliope and Anna are drinking that I'm surprised that there is much drink left! I liked Calliope's comment earlier. "I'm all ears....and earrings."
Soooo Rafe just got a a taped confession of Anna telling Calliope that she kidnapped the baby and doesn't regret it.
I'm thinking that Rafe is waiting to see if she implicates some one else ::coughE.J.cough:: too. Calliope is very good at this.
Uh, Anna said, "How strange we would both end up here. In the Same 'expiration' free country. "Did she mean, 'extradition' or am I missing one of the definitions of 'expiration'? Now Calliope has a hair appointment. Now if it is extradition free then Rafe will need to get Anna to go back on her own in order to prosecute her. I'm guessing he's banking on her rolling over right away.
Sami is nervous about getting into a swimsuit in front of ... people. (read E.J.)

This scene with Stephanie is just killing me! I'm loving Mel's easy calm here. Especially her laugh after Stephanie says, "We want to be together!" Then Mel laughs and says, "This week!"
Uh.............. um? ............. If E.J. has a sore shoulder and can't take Giani swimming, ............ then ............. Why is he holding him?
Calliope may have pushed Anna a little too hard now.
Sami looks at the robe that E.J. is holding out like she doesn't want to let him help her, but that she can't take the robe and put it on herself. Like it's let him help or 'no robe for you!'
Mel under her breath re: Steph, "You don't know her that well."
Brady: "What?"
Mel: "You don't look... well. I should go."
Brady doesn't know women AT ALL does he?
Maggie and Victor are talking. They're going to be reluctant friends. He's about to enter into yet another business marriangement and will need a sane person to talk to.

The beginning of May, What's in store? Chloe is going to be pregnant, I'm sure of it. I hope we get more Carly and less Carly Prop. I need some snark. Heehee.Oh yes. Definitely need to know more about Maddie and Kate!
Doh! Dr Baker's escape is foiled by Avenger.
He's very uncomfortable around her.
Carly and Mel scene!
Mel is in pink scrubs and Carly is in a red top. (Crystal looks good in red.)
Mel needs Carly's advice about Chloe.
Nathan asks Daniel where Chloe is.
Arianna and Brady are kissing on the couch at Victor's they're going to go 'swimming' but are distracted by a phone call.
Nicole is annoyed that no one is answering the phone.
Avenger: "Wo_ow." lol I like her attitude.
Hotel desk guy: "Who would want you to believe something that ain't so."
Chloe: "No, you're the one who told me something that wasn't true."
I wanted her to say, "ain't so." so badly!

Sami just told Ali that they were going to pick up Giani and Sydney and rescue them from the evil dungeon.

Lucas is traveling and wants Sami to ship Ali to Hong Kong for 2 weeks.
That's the last we'll see of Ali for a while.

Aw, Kate reminding Stefano to take his meds. That's so sweet!
Brady looks like he wants to lock Nicole in a closet or something to get her to shut up.
He needs to stop touching her though.
Kate sounds surprised that Will is grounded. I like that he's talking to them about using him. It's crazy when the grandchild is talking sense into the grandparents.
I hope Brady means it, that he'd hang up the phone with Nicole and go back to dinner with Arianna. She needs his full devotion.
Love Kate's blue streak of hair! Also love her response to Will telling them what E.J. said. She was very much the defensive grandmother. Makes me happy! :)
Heehee. Rafe 'working things out' with E.J. in the room so her can gauge his reactions. Good job. Please let him figure it out soon!
Nicole being smooth with the marriage officiate is a little creepy.

Holy cow. Arianna just told Brady he can put his hands anywhere he wants as long as there's not tickling. I have to say, "yeah that". Cause come on, it's Brady and Arianna! Also loooooove the color of her bikini. It's one that looks great on me. Too bad it's only the color and not the bikini that looks good on me. :D

No, Arianna the conversation has always been a little creepy, it wasn't a suddenly thing. E.J. being nice is by default creepy. Don't go work for him. He's plotting revenge I just know it.

It's a new day in Salem. Daniel is checking on Melanie, so I'm guessing that Nathan never made it into her room.
Sami is playing with Sydney and looks tired. I think she's missing Rafe.

Aw, Brady is cute when he's flustered. Arianna is sweet when she's confused and caught-off guard.
Okay, as much as I hate the idea of E.J. being in the same zip code as Sami, I do very much appreciate her talking to Rafe and having a mature conversation.
I admit that Stephanie is right in what she's saying to Melanie, but I still don't trust her.

With Melanie in a hospital bed and Stephanie sitting in a chair, this is the calmest cat-fight I think I've ever seen. :)
Ha! The lighting in the wide shot of Sami's apartment is a lot darker than the close-ups.
Nathan is SO going to walk in on Stephanie and Melanie having their little discussion.!

The cop that's helping Rafe is really pretty and looks very familiar. I wonder where I've seen her before.

Vivian, is going to tell Melanie about Carly being her mom? No way?!? I hope that Maggie stops her.
Oh! Brady and Arianna and the talk about Phillip being so in love. Loved it! Brady faking like he's going to get down on one knee and Arianna's little panic. Awesome, and funny and perfectly fitting for the couple and the situation. I wasn't really sure about Brady before especially with the whole Nicole things, but that was great. Melanie, if someone is trying to push you over a balcony with a little wall, then sit down. You won't go over without them having to pick you up. Not that I know this from experience or anything. I'm just giving helpful information.

Oh, had to see that one coming. But before all heck busted loose Mel looked so grateful and relieved to see Carly. Carly was running on pure adrenaline and whatever meds the hospital had her on, so of course she's not going to have a steady had and will be jumpy with the reflexes. She might have yelled at Melanie to 'Duck!!!' otherwise. I just have to say, that I don't think I have EVER seen that kind of incensed look of fear mixed with rage on Crystal's face with any of the characters that she's played. That was from a place of pure emotion. Wow! On another note, make-up, wardrobe, FX, who ever was responsible for the blood on Mel's dress.... if the person is shot or stabbed or wounded in any way while standing up, then don't put the FX blood on them while they're laying down. Somebody dripped and Mel had a light trail that did not come from the wound. Just some advice. I know it's hard sometimes, I've had to do it myself.
Okay, did anybody else have a flashback of the movie 'Clue' when everyone ran from the living room at Victor's?
I don't like that look on the doctor's face. :( She better be wrong. Is she a psych patient pretending to be a doctor? That'd be cool! :) Maybe she's had too much to drink. I just want her to be wrong.

Wonderful performances from everyone on the balcony. Jay Kenneth Johnson was great with the panicked and scared, and Crystal was stunning with the kicking and screaming, and Eric Martsolf was great too. I wonder if Eric got a workout from holding Crystal back? Girl has fight!
