Avenger just ripped open Brady's shirt. Um.... I'm not sure I'm comfortable with where this is going.

I missed a Carly scene! >:( I'm never talking to co-workers again!

Mel is apologizing to Philip for asking questions about Chloe and being possessive. Mel. Stop apologizing.

Chloe is shrieking. She's lost it. Carly tries to leave, but she stops her.

Baker: "Is this gonna get freaky now?"

Carly is trying so hard to be rational and get Chloe to talk to her. It's not working. Chloe is completely freaked out and honestly thinks that Carly is evil and trying to take Daniel from her.
I kind of feel sorry for Chloe. She's not coming from a place of underhandedness. She really fears that Carly is a threat.

Wow! Chloe just told Daniel what she thought/was misled to believe what had happened.

Hug her now! (Chloe is still reeling from her feelings of abandonment when Daniel told her to go to therapy, but was too pre-occupied with Carly and Mel and work to actually BE there for her or offer to go WITH her to therapy.)

Avenger and Baker are just hanging out talking about Brady.
Avenger has no idea who he is.
How is it that she knows that she's a detective, but she doesn't remember anyone that Hope knows?
Avenger re: Baker: "Sometimes I think he lies." Really? Really Avenger?

Nicole to Gabi: "So you're mad at me, but don't take it out on poor defenseless Martinis."

Brady stumbles into the pub shirt half open. I'm not thinking that he's just come from a BeeGees concert.


Oh. Wrong step Daniel. "She hasn't done anything to warrant this kind of jealousy." Oh, she definitely needs at least a psychologist. Someone to talk to. But Daniel really needs to do it with her. I mean she was pretty much left to deal with an hysterical pregnancy on her own, which emotionally to her would be like a miscarriage.

Carly just cut Nicole off from the ER room that they took Brady to.

Gabby, good girl for calling Arianna. Smart thinking.
Nicole is watching through the little window in the door.

Roman is worried that the attacks might escalate.
Carly says, "You have a reason to worry Roman. The wounds are the same, but look at this."
Brady has a red lipstick tri-swirl painted on his chest, except that it's not really lipstick because it would have smeared with his shirt rubbing his chest.
Roman: "What's that?"
Carly: "Sick."
Carly: "He was probably already knocked out when the mugger got 'artistic'."
Now Roman suspects Nicole too. Hehehe

Philip just suggested to Mel that they give Daniel and Chloe some space and not see them as much so they can "work things out".

Chloe and Daniel are at the docks and Chloe sees the hotel desk clerk.
They confront him.
All he can say is, "What?" to all of their questions and then. "I'm never seen you before in my whole life."
Um I don't think Victor would approve of Vivian making Chloe go crazy since it's going to hurt Daniel.

Roman is calling Hope, but Avenger has worn her out. She's sleeping.
She just had a nightmare/image of Avenger stamping Brady with the tri-spiral.
She's catching on.

Seriously Chloe is breaking my heart with "You believe him and not me."
Which could easily come out whiny, but doesn't.

Aaaaaaand a very clean, homeless person with a bad hairdresser has found Stephanie's discarded birth control. Who saw that coming?

So we start off with Mel's hand on Nathan's knee.
Oh, no! The person that died under Nathan was a fundraising chairwoman for the hospital!
Oh, and The awesome nurse and Stephanie walked in on Mel and Nathan holding hands.
Ciara left her lunch at home. Hope is very busy and frustrated, she's not doing well at work today. Wonder if Carly will end up taking lunch to Ciara?

Sami to Stefano: "Thanks and admiration? I'm gonna have to update my Facebook status." lmao

Abe is considering having Hope take a break fro the force. She begs him not to because it's the only thing she has to hang onto right now. Adrienne walks up behind Abe and says, "I wonder why that is."

Rafe and E.J. are odd in their encounters. They are both so reserved and yet antagonistic. It's creepy calmness to the extreme.

Oh, Nathan and Mel are in "the principal's office" with Lexi. She's grilling them. Love it!
"I've got an intern and a nursing student..." You also had a very capable nurse in the room who did nothing.
Uh, oh dead woman's daughter is there. Stephanie and Nathan are going to talk to her.

Adrienne to Hope: "Tell me do you check up on Justin as part of your police work."
Adrienne is so calling Hope out about her mixed up self and Justin and calling Adrienne to come back, then telling her to leave. Adrienne!

Uh, why is it so hard for Stefano to believe that Sami is Marlena's child. Marlena was not an innocent.
Oooops. Stefano almost spilled the beans in frustration.
"I just can not believe my son ..." Hehehehehe.

Did Hope just call Ciara 'puppy'? Hope is completely flustered and distracted. She's not handling things well.

Adrienne told Justin she already has an owner for the bar, but the the new owner wants to change the name.

Sami accuses Stefano of "kidnapping" Giani's penguin to keep the kids there.

Kate brings a message from Mary to Sami, "The penguin is in the diaper bag. Whatever that means."

It kind of sounds like spy code. "The Penguin is in the diaper bag."

Adrienne says that she's realized that she was leaning on Justin, but that she doesn't need to any more.

"We've got Anna Dimera in custody. We're finally going to know what happened."
Um, probably not dude.

Kate re: E.J.'s attraction to Sami: "I don't get it. It's like some kind of whistle that only dogs can hear."
......"Then they all spawn with her as well and we're left trying to make a family with all the (whispered) 'Little Ones')
E.J. told Stefano that Anna is in custody. Bet you Stefano regrets not killing her now.

Nathan just told Mel that he was thinking about her when he was working on dead woman.
That's okay Nathan, because Mel was so freaked out she wasn't thinking about anything. So NOT good in a crisis. Mommy needs to teach her to keep her head in an emergency.

I love Rafe filling Sami in on E.J.'s reaction to the news about Anna.
Dude! E.J. said, "I'm gonna lose the children. I'm gonna lose Samantha." Ha! He's all smitten

Ciara is scared that Hope was gone when she woke up. Ciara misses daddy and uncle Justin too. Uh. Hope says, "Maybe we can solve both of those problems." Ciara says, "How mommy?" (right there with you kiddo ) Hope says, "Maybe someday Uncle Justin can be your new daddy."

Hope's gone off the deep end, and that leaves Bo securely in Carly's court. Woohoo!

Uh, oh. They arrested an Anna stand-in.

Now Abe got knocked over the head too. Who is doing it?

Mel seems to think that if she tells Philip and Nathan enough times that she no longer has feelings for Nathan then it will be true.

Ha! Nicole wasn't expecting that the interview was live!

CC Chavez just got a network pick-up and is moving to New York.
Maybe she'll come back in a couple of months. What? It's my new wish. Jess needs a steady job. In my opinion.

I love that you can hear pool balls clicking in the background of Philip and Brady's scene.

Okay, how much do I love that Rafe is refusing to be together with Sami for very real-life valid non soapy reasons. And he's explaining them to her.


So are they giving CC's spot to Nicole or to Arianna?

Mel and Nathan are sad and look like they need hugs.

Aw, E.J. and Stefano arm holding father/son bonding moment.

E.J. asks if "this" is all over between them. Stefano says, "You're my son, I'll always love you. Of course it's over." He has one final condition.
E.J. seems perturbed that Stefano's silence about Sydney comes at a price.

Chloe is not comfortable with Carly there. Carly isn't really comfortable either. Daniel is kind of oblivious to the tension.

Mel offered Stephanie "a peso for your thoughts." Dude, that's low!


Stefano tells E.J. that he was never very good at playing dumb. Really?

Oh! E.J. doesn't want to take the kids away from Sami and bring them to the house. Now Stefano is not so pleased. Hehehehehehehehehe.

Venice: More comments and responses

Sorry, I know I'm behind on 'Days' blogging, but I wanted to share these thoughts with some people that I know would appreciate them, but won't see them where they were originally posted.

In response to the 1st part of the interview with Kim and Crystal http://www.ausxip.com/video/archives/1314 and some viewers discontent with what they percieved the interview accomplishing.

Some people enjoy the writing and don't think it needs fixed. However story arcs are part of the the writing, and they addressed that as something that was going to be different now that the introduction of characters was over. I've said for a while that I've seen the first season of Venice as the first 20 minutes of a movie. It's the introduction, the exposition the 'foundation' and the jumping off point. In the interview it sounded to me like that's how they saw it too. Since it isn't a feature film, then yes a lot of the comments regarding 'arc' and 'pacing' are due to format differences.

In response to a mis-understanding to my previous post.

I was referring to 'feature film' format, not length. Being a soap opera style I don't believe that it would have been their intention to encapsulate all of Venice into a feature film length, they are building a basis for a story that would hopefully continue on for a while that's why it's 'like' the first 20 minutes of a feature film, not it is the first 20 minutes of a feature film. I feel that the first season of Venice was to serve the same purpose as the first 20 minutes, I wasn't meaning that they wrote a 90-180 minute feature film and chopped it into web-seized pieces.It's a big broad scope, not your average web or other series, it's what makes it unique and original and not like everything else that I just can't get into because I get bored with it after the first 3 minutes.I'm not sure how else to explain it aside from hooking up a fire wire from my brain to the PC so peeps can see what I mean. It's a good solid idea, it's just not formulaic or a copycat. Hopefully as we go (since they are staying true to their original vision Thank Goodness!) it will become more clear.

In response to statements that the team behind Venice was not receptive to criticism etc.

I didn't get a sense that the weren't receptive to constructive criticism. I got a sense that they knew what they wanted it to be, that they knew where they fell short in that goal, and that they listened to and read criticisms and compliments alike. I did get a sense that they've read and listened to criticism that is in no way helpful, constructive or 'in the best interest for the success of Venice' and probably won't go to a lot of effort to make sure that each of those 'criticisms' are addressed. I'm also sure that they aren't looking at every, "The show is absolutely amazing, I LOVE YOU!!!!" as a signal to keep everything the same. I think that just because a certain criticism or critique may not be implemented (which we don't know yet) does not mean that
they aren't receptive, it just might not fit into the master plan/original vision of the work. As a person who enjoys and understands the show and the writing, and who does not give fawning praise to anyone. I'm glad that they let people know that they saw some issues and will be addresses them, and I'm am very very glad to hear that they are sure of their original idea. I like their original idea. Good for them.The writing does not need a major overhaul, there is no fatal flaw. There is room for improvement, they saw that. I knew they would. They are smart people. You always see things that you would have done differently once the cast is released, or the final edit is cut. Some things you can change then, some things you have to let go and change next time. It doesn't mean that you aren't aware that they're there. I was relieved and reassured when they spoke about knowing things could be improved, because so many of the comments that they've gotten use wording that insinuates that they aren't or wouldn't be aware of things.I'm glad that what I gathered from the interview didn't sound like they were going to change Venice into something that I
wouldn't recognize or enjoy.

In response to comments about need to relegate some characters to the periphery and not show their personal stories.

See, and I like that. Give me more people to juggle, more stories to keep up with. Things like that make it so much more interesting to me. I want to know everything about everyone in a story. I actually kind of want to know more about the people Ani was photographing that day on the promenade when Gina showed up and Ani told her she needed space and took a picture or the two of them. Were they for a magazine shoot, or a private thing that they hired Ani to do? To me that adds depth. My brain is good with the multi-focusing.

Response to another expression of desire for Venice to be like other web series.

I would still rather have Venice be marginally successful and remain true to the original vision than to cater to and conform to the way that 'everyone else' does it. To me it is a gem, a 'diamond in the rough' so to speak. It's different and unique and maybe it's a little beyond the conceptual scope of some viewers or draws them out of their traditional viewing comfort zone. I want them to make the changes that they saw and need to make to ensure that Venice more closely resembles the work that they envisioned, but I don't want them to make arbitrary changes just so that more people like it.I think the formatting for web style was one of the things that they mentioned they were going to be looking at, but I sure do not want them to take on anything else from other web series even if they are some of "the most successful web series" out there. I want Venice to be Venice, and not only with the character names and locations to make it different from the others.

I'm not saying, that my way is the only way. I'm just saying that I'm tired of people telling me that Venice "has to change" "needs to do this" or "should be that way" because it isn't any good. I'm tired of them dismissing my opinion because they think that I am "enamored with" or "blindly following" the Venice creative team.
I'm amazed that some people have such a mental block that they can't see that there are other ways for things to be good, not just what you get in spades from 'main stream' TV and web series. Productions went to the web for creative freedom, and trying to force a things, or rejecting that which does not into a mold (it's a new mold I'll give you, but a mold all the same) defeats the very spirit of web production.
And I'm sorry, but you can't hide behind "I only want Venice to succeed" to excuse the rudeness and definitely non-constructive criticism.

Carly told Bo that she is the last person he should be worrying about.
She told him that Vivian isn't a threat because Bo scared her enough to back off.

Uh oh. Hope is calling Rafe in for questioning. I mean to "meet her down at the station."

Yeah, E.J. Stefano is backing down because he's sorry for tricking Will into letting him in the house. Sure.

Kate is worried about losing all of the redecorating that she did to the house. lmao // In fairness (for those not watching) she did mention concern for Will since he's coming to live with them. But that wasn't as funny, or cute or 'Kate-like'

Will just told Rafe that he left Sami's house.
And Rafe should have stayed to talk with him or at least let Will come with him and talk at the station.

Anna just said she was "Home Free" I'm guessing not for long!

I'm so behind that my "NBC Direct" subscriptions have expired on everything over 2 weeks old. :( Sooooo how's about I do little recaps and comments from what I posted in the BPD play-by-play threads? Sorry guys. I've been very bad at keeping things caught up. I apologize a lot! Cookie?

Since he's in love with Sami again, and now Nicole is back with a chip on her shoulder are we going to get a repeat of the last year? Hhmmm. I guess that's okay since I didn't watch until Crystal came back, but still........ just wondering.

She says, "When you've reached the age of (gulp) 40 like i have you tend to think of anyone who's younger as children. No offence."

She says that it's every childs dream for their parents to get back together.

Benny doesn't want to sit with Rafe anymore. He gets up to leave and Rafe says that he's got 6 guys on him, so he's not going anywhere.

Rafe tells Benny he's an agent and shows him the photos.

Rafe says DNA tests proved that Benny had handled Sydney's stuffed animal that was left behind at the cottage. Hmmm? Interesting.
E.J. is playing dumb with Nicole. "I was never that close to Anna, so how could she betray me?"

E.J. just grabbed Nicole's wrist and pulled her halfway across the table. He's not so calm any more.

Carly needs to just walk away every time she so much as smells Vivian's perfume in the air.

I love that Sami is being aware of Rafe and his feelings and how much she hurt him.

It's been awhile. I'm trying to play catch up.
Oh, yeah. E.J. brought Sydney to the Brady Pub. What's he up to?
Okay, question... Has anyone wondered about how the kidnappers who allegedly took Sydney for ransom money, have bee able to afford to but her in such nice clothes? I'm almost positive that she's not wearing the same size that she was when she was first kidnapped.
Melanie isn't taking this whole new parent reveal thing very well is she? Poor girl.
I'm glad that at least Roman is also suspicious of E.J.
Wow, Carly is tired of being dumped on and she's fighting back. Finally!
Uh, Roman and Rafe need to push Sami to take Sydney in to get her checked out.
Nice talk between Melanie and Daniel. They're all sweet and teary. They needs hugs!

Hehehehehehehe, Daniel is going to scare Vivian. Of course it will only last for like 2 seconds because she has some weird sort of intimidation amnesia and will be back to scheming as soon as Daniel leaves the room.
Carly, I don't think A: That Bo will let you go to jail and B: That you going to jail will help anyone.
Okay, I'm not normally all for the cave man, "we're handling this my way" kind of thing, but I think Bo might be right here. He's looking out for Carly even when she's not looking out for herself.
I like that Philip admitted that Carly shot Melanie by accident when he was relaying the story to Stephanie. I think that's the first time he's acknowledged that she didn't aim at Melanie.

People in Salem need to stop having private conversations (and one sided phone conversations) in public places. They're just asking to be caught.
Daniel needs to tell Melanie that he's her father. She would be more upset with Carly than with him. Heeehee. Melanie said, "Without you I wouldn't be here." More than you know Mel.
Aw, Sami. Way to lie. Good though since E.J. is spying on you.
Way to go Philip, give Chloe another reason to not like Carly. This isn't going to end well, but it's going to make for some great scenes with Nadia and Crystal.
Ha, Mel can see Daniel's change in character regarding Carly. I really hope that she and he can get past this and have a good relationship with Carly in the end.
Oooooo. Chloe and Carly scene. This is going to be good. :D Oh, Chloe you don't know everything, but now that Carly thinks you do then you will. Hehehehehe.

Oh, Chloe just realized that she and Carly aren't talking about the same thing. (Shallow sidenote: The blue in her shirt really makes Nadia's eyes pop more than they normally do.) And, there is the shock on her face. I think it might just be best for Carly to hold a press conference and just detail the last like 30 years of her life. Get everything out in the open because she's causing herself more trouble than should have to deal with. She needs to clean the air and be done with the secrets. It will be good for her. :D

Ha, the nurse is from Springfield. :) I love Mel's, "He's not 'Sir' he's Philip." The nurse is a little creepy though. I do not trust her.
When Chloe said, "You're a father now." you could almost see that she wanted to say, "and I'm not a mother. It was supposed to happen for us, together." She's fighting breaking down. Chloe needs a hug!
Carly just can't stop trying to help people can she? It's part of what makes her so sweet, she tries to help or protect everyone and it looks like it hurts her when she can't.

I'm worried about the coffee pot that Arianna is still holding. I can only see it dropping to the floor and breaking into millions of pieces if Brady keeps kissing her like that. :D
Sami was right. Rafe sees through her completely. She needs to just tell him about the new 'ransom note'.

Brady really needed to hear that, good job Arianna. I hope that he takes it and applies it like he's done with other talks that they've had regarding Nicole. He's made a lot of progress, but he is still very attached.
This is a very cleansing kind of argument that Arianna and Brady are having. I hope so very much that they make it through okay.

They should really just give Carly what ever information she's asking for. It will be much easier in the long run.
Have I mentioned how annoying that these ransom notes and the whole 'kidnapping' plot in general are getting. Oh, Rafe you and Sami are going to fall right into E.J.s twisted little plot. Okay, E.J. just took a swig from his flask. Is he really drinking or is he just pretending to make it look like he's having a hard time with Sydney's 'kidnapping'?
Awesome! Sami's reply of, "The hell you will." to E.J. saying to let him take control was total win.
Oh, Maggie and Carly are having a battle of the mothers. They are both being protective and they both love Melanie so much. I think Maggie's actually a little bit jealous too though. Does Maggie not know that Melanie would have been killed as a child if Carly hadn't let her go? I'm liking this scene. Suzanne and Crystal seem to play amazingly well off of each other. I want more of these little gems! :)
Aw, Daniel is smitten with his new found little girl. Sweet. I'm still very worried about how Chloe is going to feel. I mean she wants so very badly to have children with Daniel. Especially after the recent hysterical pregnancy scare when she's feeling so fragile and unworthy, knowing that Carly has given him a child will crush Chloe. But if she is resentful, then we'll get some really good scenes of it. :)
Sami's on the right track wanting to tell Rafe about the new 'ransom note.' I just hope that E.J. doesn't talk her out of it.

Rafe has E.J. pegged. I can't believe Arianna is so blind to E.J. I mean come on, Troy yelling, "She's a Narc!" and Arianna just let E.J. brush it aside. And Rafe needs to be extra strong since he's getting the, 'Oh, no E.J. is just in mourning, he's not a bad guy.' from every angle. He must feel very alone with all of that doubt and calls of paranoia being tossed at him.
Aw, Melanie is being the cute little 'baby girl' with Daniel too. She's so sweet and vulnerable when she lets her walls down and talks about wanting a family.
E.J. must die.... That is all.
Okay, seriously cute scene. Even if Daniel isn't going to tell Melanie yet, it's a very cute scene. I kind of expect him to have a storybook and read her to sleep. :)
Carly and Daniel are not doing okay. I really hope that Bo steps up to be there for her, because she's going to need the comfort.
I'm not sure what's going on with Arianna. But that little tear when Mel talks about being shot on your wedding day by your mother has me intrigued.
Wow, we need more scenes with Arianna and Mel. They are great friends and I really like Lindsey here. She's good anywhere, but she really knocked this scene out.
I can't stand E.J. talking for Sami in response to Rafe's questions. It's condescending and comes off as a little chauvinistic.
Really, what's wrong with Maggie? Okay. I'm guessing her Myasthenia Gravis symptoms are showing up again. Is that what they're hinting at? (Sidenote: Wow! I think Crystal needs a hug. I can't imagine the emotions and memories this must bring up.)
Daniel, buddy. Um, Lawrence probably wouldn't have been a match for you, you would have been a bug he squashed without a second thought. I'm with Carly on this one. Carly needs a hug. A big one and someone to please tell her that she made the right decision, the only one that she could, all those years ago.

Uh, oh. Philip is about to ruin the mommy daughter reunion.
This Carly Mel re-shoot scene has a completely different tone than it did Friday. It's kind of like Carly just popped out with "I'm your mother, pass the popcorn" while they were watching a movie. They really should have just used a cut from Friday's scene with all the crying and the heightened emotions. That was good times.

I do love how Mel still calls her a crazy person. It's kind of like an endearing nickname now. :D Carly should leave now while Daniel is still able to stall Philip.

Sami, don't just brush off E.J. walking into your home. Bad, bad mojo. You need to lay into him for being all creepy.
Haahaa, Vivian thinks that she can talk the judge into withholding bail for Carly.

Chloe has a right to be upset with Daniel. Hmmm, I did not see that coming. A jealousy fueled Chloe/Carly contention will be very interesting indeed. Especially if Chloe starts trying to keep Carly from having anything to do with her dear friend Daniel.
Aaawww! Carly's description of Melanie is so sweet and proud and full of love and admiration. "Then I got here and I met her and she's so smart and funny and bullheaded and passionate and beautiful, and I immediately loved her." What's great is that we already knew that Carly felt that way, it's so clearly written on her face. She's completely head over heels for her baby girl. Yay!!! :)

Rafe is torn up about the latest find regarding Sydney.
Ha, Philip pulled a fireplace poker on Vivian! Awesome!
I love that Melanie is hysterical when she waked up and remembers that she and Philip are married. I don't think that we see that enough on television or in movies. The way she keeps trying to sit up and jump out of bed only to be jolted back by that sharp intense pain the source of which her panicked brain has no memory. Her, "What happened?" here is so confused and small it just breaks your heart. She really seems for all the world like a little hurt confused child who needs her mommy. I don't think it's going to be a happy and cuddly reunion though.
Vivian is terrified that Philip is going to snap and kill her. I love it! It's about time someone had her honestly cowering in fear. "I don't think you should say Carly's name." Way to go Philip, I completely agree. Vivian hasn't the right, but most importantly using Carly as scapegoat here is only going to make Philip more angry because he'll be reminded of the entire plot and how you used the woman he loves for your own twisted self-indulgent revenge plotting. Ha! Holy cow that's awesome! Philip telling Vivian that he's angry with his father, then Vivian asking what it has to do with her, and Philip saying, "Oh, he loves you Vivian. He loves you. I kill you and I get to see him suffer." She is truly fearful of her life right now. One would hope that this would teach her a lesson, but it is afterall Vivian that we're talking about so it's not gonna happen. :) Wow, Louise and Jay Kenneth were phenomenal in this scene.
Okay, so Mel now remembers that it was Carly who shot her, I hope she's receptive when she learns everything that happened and that Carly's her mother.
Rafe is on the right track, I just hope he can see it through to the end and find Sydney. I'm glad that Ari is there to listen to him and help him through the thought process.
Oh, E.J. I think it's a mistake using Brady to relay news about Sydney being dead. I think it's going to back fire and not go the way you planned.
Hysterical Mel is awesome, so fitting for the situation. Can I just add that I love that Carly has her ears covered after Daniel comes into the room? She can't handle hearing her daughter in both physical and emotional pain. Plus those are ear splitting screams. Molly is doing an excellent job here. I'm glad that Daniel didn't spill the 'mommy' beans, and told her that she needed to ask Carly.
Carly's little 'Thank you' prayer says so much about her love for Melanie. She is more grateful that Melanie's awake and is going to be okay than she is upset that Melanie might never forgive her for accidentally shooting her. And there, she just said as much to Daniel. Ha! :) I'm glad that Carly has him as a friend.
Oh, Mel this is going to be hard for you the hear.
Arianna is right. It's hard to feel sorry for Nicole. Maybe E.J. is pushing Brady away from Arianna as payback for her undercover work.
Wow Vivian has rcovered quickly after her little experience with Philip. Guess he needs to scare her better next time. Victor's line, "The Three Stooges on crack could have come up with a better plan."
When Carly sits on the bed Mel shifts her leg a little further away, nice touch again here from Molly.
Okay, Carly finally got it out, I kind of like how she slowly revealed everything around it first to give Mel time to process and fill in the blanks. I kind of wonder if Mel had an inkling before. There's just something in her voice when she asks 'what do I meant to you' or 'why am I so important to you' that had a little bit of hope.
