Venice: Episode 211 - December 22, 2010

Ani is waiting for Lara to get up. Lara says that it was a nice party. Ani says that it was until the end. She says that she's not a jealous girlfriend or anything but that it's not okay to see her all over Jess at the end of the night. Lara doesn't know what Ani's talking about. Ani asks her if she even remembers the end of the night because she was "a little drunk" Oh, Ani sweetie. She couldn't stand up on her own, that's more than "a little drunk". Lara says that she remembers everything. Ani calls her on it saying that she and Gina "had to haul your ass home because you were completely out of it." Ani brings up that she knows that Lara's under pressure. Lara slams her hands on the table and yells that she doesn't need more from Ani. Ani immediately goes into herself and gets this detached far-away look like she's watching what's going on between them but she's not a part of it. I am very familiar with that look. Ani has been in this situation before. She's got some back story I'd love to see explored! It's emotionally abusive even if indirectly. And then she says it. She's getting more and more freaked out and doesn't know if she can do it. Lara calls to Ani not to leave, but Ani keeps going out the door. She's right to do it. If she stays she'll get emotionally manipulated or she'll say something that she'll regret later. She needs to process away form the situation. Nadia and Jessica both do an excellent job here.

Owen is at Guya's and when she asks him about work he tells her that the director's nephew took his role. Yay to Owen for opening up to family. :) Owen tells Guya that he wants to have a future with Sami but that he can't let her be friends with Van. Guya tells Owen to not let Van get in his way. That is Sami loves Owen then she will forgive him for lying about work.

Gina covers a sleeping Colonel then reads a letter that she wrote to Ani telling her that she's ready now to love her but that she knows that she's happy with Lara. It's a long beautiful letter and Gina's crying by the end. She says in the letter that she'll probably never send it, but she puts it in an envelope and seals it with a kiss. Unbeknownst to her, The Colonel is awake and was listening to her read the letter. This stroke has allowed him to sit back and observe and forced him to not be in control. It's changed him for the better.

Van kisses Sami and she pushes him aware. Owen sees the kiss, but not the rebuff.

Lara is at High Bar drowning her publishing deal loss in bloody marys.

Ani and Gina are on the beach. Ani notices when Gina refers to The Colonel as her dad. It's sweet. :) Ani tells Gina that she and Lara fought. That maybe she's being gun shy after her relationship with.... Gina says, "With me." and assures her that it's okay. She asks Ani what she wants to to. Ani wants her to be okay and Gina tells her that it will be tough but that she'll need to stick by Lara if she wants to help her.

Jamie called a car for Lara and helps her to it to get her home.

Guya is upset and Brandon comes up to comfort her. She had a nightmare last night and started crying when he tried to wake her. I'm glad that he's there to be attentive and help her. He's just what she didn't realize that she needed.

Gina tells The Colonel that "his friend's death was an accident" that it was an aneurysm and she thought he'd like to know. He thanks her. Sweet!

Ani goes to Lara's and finds her lying on the couch drinking. Lara says that she's all talked out and Ani tells her that she knows about the missed deadlines. Lara is upset that Ani read her e-mails. Ani says that she understands the pressure that she was under now. Lara is melting down and Ani is right there for her. Lara says that she expects perfection. Ani says that she knows that but that she thought Lara wanted 'them' too. Ani hugs Lara then Lara freaks and pushes Ani who hits a wall head first. Ani slides tot he floor crying but not injured and Lara is in shock and starts apologizing and crying and leans into Ani. Ani seems to make a decision before putting her hand on Lara's head to calm her.
Ani is going to kill me having to watch her try and be there for Lara.


Another powerful episode with phenomenal performances!

Venice: Episode 208 - December 1, 2010

Owen is calling Sami. He went by her place last night and she wasn't there. He's still not happy about Van or leaving voice mails for Sami. Van is secretly following Owen. Hmmm some thing's fishy.

Gina comes down stairs wearing a t-shirt that says "Own It". Awesome! She tries to get The Colonel to exercise by stealing his prized autographed football. He doesn't follow her out the door. :(

Amber comes to Guya again. She's been wandering Venice Beach for years and is lost. Guya has her touch the cards then tries to read her and sees a flowers and a long winding road. She tells Amber that she's in a bad place that she's trapped. Amber screams "Just tell me the truth!" Excellent scene from Liz and Hillary! I can't wait to find out what's up. Is Amber a ghost? She's so distraught. :(

Lara and Jamie and Drew are hanging out and drinking when Lara gets a phone call from Ani. She tells her that she's finished her pages for the morning and was just taking a break before starting back in again. She told Ani that she's not sure about dinner that she'll probably stay at the house and write. Why do I get the feeling that she's avoiding Ani? Jamie asks her about the book and she tells him that she's a little behind. He asks why she didn't tell that to Ani. Lara says that she wouldn't understand. Jamie says that she would. Lara changes the subject and they toast.

Van is at Sami's and they're discussing Owen. Van is telling Sami that he resented Owen because Jane spent so much time raising Owen and Gina after Katie died and he felt left out. She believes him and tells him to stay.

Gina has a football tee set up in the street and sets the ball into it as The Colonel comes out of the house. He walks to the middle of the street and bends down and grabs the ball. Gina is so excited that she does a rather involved happy dance in the middle of the street then shouts "Score!" as The Colonel walks back inside with his football. It's so cute and I'm excited for her because of the huge step and progression that single act signifies in The Colonel's recovery. Gina needs a hug for that clever little move! :) Loving this scene from Crystal so much.

Ani is a High Bar and Jamie comes up asking if she finished early. Ani says that she had a very early sunrise shoot and is done. Now she's waiting for Gina so they can go over some last minute plans for her party. Gina shows up and has a drink waiting for her. She shares her football taunting story with Ani and then they move on to party planning. Gina wants coconut shrimp on a stick and Ani wants pigs in a blanket. Gina tells her, "No." and Ani says, "But I love them." Sooooooooo cute! Gina tells her that pigs in blankets say 'tail-gate' and that Lara was thinking more along the lines of caviar. Ani says that she still want little hot dogs and isn't it her party? Right you are Ani! Gina says, "Apparently not. I'm sorry." So Lara is the one controlling this party that Gina is hosting for Ani? She seems to be awfully controlling for someone who isn't at the meeting because she's blowing off writing and lying to Ani about it. Ani says that she has no business eating any of that stuff anyway. :( Gina asks what she's talking about. Ani says, "You know me. I'm just feeling a little self conscious about my body." Gina tells her that she's got to stop that and Ani start telling her that Lara eats whatever she wants and doesn't work out and look at her body. She says that she and Lara were dancing the other night and all she could think was, "Please...don't touch my love handles." Gina looks heartbroken and catches Ani's eyes and with perfect honesty says, "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever met. So stop it. Stop it." Ani says, "You're biased." Then she brushes it off saying that she's back to yoga and boot camp and that should help. Gina looks so sad. Ani says that she loves that song that's playing. Gina asks her to dance with her. The song is Kyler England's 'Clean Slate'. They are dancing and Ani has a look that says that she's feeling so many emotions is not anywhere near over Gina. Gina has a similar expression. She just wants to do anything she can to make sure Ani is happy. Such a beautiful and heart warming/breaking scene. Crystal and Jessica are perfect in this scene! So much emotion and trepidation. Just beautiful.

Owen and Sami discuss Van.

Ani is at Lara's and an e-mail pops up on the laptop on the counter. Ani opens the e-mail and read it. It's from Lara's publisher saying that she's missed another deadline, that she can't cover for her anymore and that they are thinking of pulling the book deal. Ani is worried and wonders what Lara's been doing and where she is now. Have I mentioned how much Jessica rocks?

Lara is apparently passed out in her car with a flask in the seat next to her.

I loved how much forward movement we got in this episode. Ani and Gina are killing me. Lara is annoying me. I can't say I'm surprised, but she's definitely emerging from her too-perfect new-relationship self. Nadia's doing a wonderful job making the transition natural and smooth.

And of course Kim and Crystal with the writing and storyline, are bringing about a slowly evolving set of characters and events. I love them soooo much for creating this show!

Venice: Episode 207 - November 24, 2010

Gina brings out a box of photos to go through with her father. She pulls pictures out and asks questions about them but he doesn't respond. She has to leave to go to a party but will be back and make him exercise. After she leaves he looks at a photo and says, "That was our fifth anniversary."

Lara and Ani are on the beach. Ani's got a bottle of Shiner and she's laying across Lara's lap. They are completely cute and when they get up Michelle and Jamie make the same assessment.

Gina runs into an old environmentally conscious friend.

Gina walks up to the group who all manage to leave her alone with Ani. They talk for a moment. Apparently Gina is throwing the party for Ani's gallery showing.
Sami asks Gina how it's going with her father. Gina says that it's an exercise in futility. Van walks up to the and Sami is surprised that he is Owen and Gina's cousin.
Gina goes over to Guya and her cute guy. Cute guy leaves them alone and Guya mentions that she loves "a man in a suit" because he's wearing a bathing suit.

Michelle, Jess and Jamie are talking about Jess loving working outside of London and Jamie's Internet date. Everyone is just relaxing.

Owen and Van chat for a minute then decide to start a game of volleyball. During the game Owen hits Van in the shoulder with the ball. Sami goes to his side and tells Owen that he did it on purpose. Van says that he's alright then walks off.

Gina offers Lara some water. Subtle Gina :) Lara declines and Gina says, "You know if you hurt her, you'll have to answer to me."

Van shows up at Guya's to appologize.

Gina walks up to her old friend. His name is Richard. He and Gina used to date. He and The Colonel seemed to get along, but Richard doesn't know that Gina dates women and asks her about the guy in her life. She side steps the question saying that she's not seeing anybody and heads back to her father's house. Richard looks after he all adoringly.

Venice: Episode 205 - November 10, 2010

Guya and Gina are at High Bar talking about missing each other, needing a sleepover with Owen and that Guya has been thinking about Katie a lot lately. Gina wonders how things would be different if her mother were still alive. Guya talks about how different he was when she was alive. Gina can't grasp her mind around him being so much different than he is with her. Guya tells GIna that maybe she can use this opportunity to move forward with The Colonel.

Ani is preparing to make dinner at Lara's. She opens the trash to trow away a paper towel and sees 2 beer bottles (Bridgeport Breweries: India Pale Ale?), a wine bottle and a liquor bottle (looks like E&J brand Brandy) Ani kind of frowns and contemplates then looks like she makes a decision. She's noticed Lara's drinking and seeing the bottle in the trash just made it that much more urgent.

Sami thanks Owen for helping before he leaves. She again reminds him that she's unavailable by telling him that she's got a date.

Gina gives herself a pep talk before going into the house to deal with her father.

Owen is frustrated because Sami is late and he's left her voice mail messages already.

Gina brings soup but The Colonel wants a burger. She's frustrated and he's frustrated. She tells him that if he works hard he'll be able to flip her off. When he final starts eating she watches him and a small smile creeps in. She can't help but be happy that he's making some progress.

Ani is feeding Lara empanadas and cleans up crumbs on Lara's mouth by kissing them away. Lara suggests wine and Ani distracts her with kisses.

Guya is upset that she's lost her aura. The last time that happened was when her ex ran off with "that dirty skank ho bitch". She grabs her journal and starts reading an entry from Katie's 30th birthday. She talks about John having planned a surprise party and the kids having planned a skit. She's gotten them tickets to The Greatful Dead.

Ani and Lara are taking a shower together. I can't help but think that Ani has decided to offer herself as a disctraction to Lara's drinking.
I also can't help but think that this scene is the sole reason that so many who have slighted the series from the beginning have praised this episode as the best yet. The writing hasn't changed, the scene structure hasn't changed. They are both as wonderfully layered and real as they've always been. The only thing that is different in this episode that I can see is the naked women in the shower. If I'm missing some other brilliant piece of writing that has just now come to the surface in episode 205 then please point it out to me. I'm not saying that the shower scene is a bad thing, just that it's the only difference I can find from previous episodes that might garner the praise that it recieved from otherwise historically dissappointed vocal viewers. Not that there is anything wrong with that either.

Venice: Episode 203 - October 27, 2010

We open with the last scene from the previous episode. Ani walking up to Gina on the beach. This time after Ani says, "Of course I am." there is only a small pause with meaningful looks before Gina asks Ani how she found out. When Ani says, "Jamie." Gina says, "Of course he... he told you. He's a good man." Ani prods Gina to talk about how she's doing and what she's feeling. Ani says that she won't let anyone know that tough Gina has a mushy center. The line is delivered with expert cuteness of course, but there's a moment right after Gina's reply when Ani looks like she desperately wants to fall back into her old habits of being there for Gina in all of the unhealthy, all consuming, self-depriving ways that she used to, but to her credit she looks down, away from Gina and breaks away from the mental ledge. Gina using her newly established awareness of Ani's needs asks about Ani, and Lara. It's a huge step in a seemingly tiny un-noticable act for Gina to conciously ease the tension and ask about Ani's current girlfriend. It shows that Gina has leanred from what Ani has been telling her and that Gina isn't going to take advantage of Ani's concern for her in this situation. Ani says that it's easy and they're getting to know each other. When Gina asks if she's happy, Ani replies that she is. Then Ani asks Gina about Tracy and Gina tells her that Tracy went back to London, that it was bad timing. Ani takes a moment to let that sit. Flashlight by Adrienne is playing under the scene. It's beautiful for two reasons, it fits the new friend status that Gina and Ani are trying so very hard to maintain and it's the song that was playing on Guiding Light when Natalia grabbed Olivia's hand to lead her out of Gus's house. (Nov. 10, 2008 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBRXUv7aSsY ) They both miss talking to each other like they used to. Such a sweet sweet scene! ::sniff::

Guya is trying to get The Colonel to allow people to help him heal. She's the only one who calls him John. Also a nice scene.

Gina has a flashback of her and Ani. She's taken Ani to the beach to tell her that she wants to take her away on a vacation. Ani is excited and they kiss. Gina comes out of the flashback and is on the beach alone. :(

Michelle is talking to Alan on the phone and is frustrated. Jamie shows up and tells Michelle that he needs to find a man. Michelle tells him he needs to try the internet. He says no. They are cute together.

Gina comes up to The Colonel's house in time to see his latest nurse leaving. She tries to bribe the nurse to stay by offereing to design a house for her. Apparently that was the last nurse as Gina tells her father that they've gone through 3 nursing companies and numerous nurses. He doesn't say anything as he watches her clean up the living room.

Guya is meditating when Van comes up and spooks her. Wes Ramsey is sooooo cute! Guya is sad that Van isn't staying with her, he's staying with a friend. She tells him about The Colonel's stroke. Van mentions again that he wants to bridge the gap with Owen while he's here.

Ani and Lara are having a picnic on the beach. Lara starts to go off about her editor and then decides that she's done talking about it. Ani says, "Yay!" She talks about being stressed about having to be around "wiaf thin models" who "need a fucking cheeseburger" she says that she coudl stand to lose a few punds and Lara jumps right in to tell her that she's perfect and that she doesn't want her to lose any of it and tells her to eat more. This is a profound scene in many ways. It feels like Lara is the more controlling of the two with her seemingly ignoring Ani's weight concerns and blowing them off by telling her that she thinks that she should eat more. It makes a comment on the world of modeling which has and I'm sure will alway be scrutinized for it's affinity towards dangerously thin models. It's also something that makes me uncomfortable and/or sad personally because I've read comments and seen video where Jessica has mentioned that she's not comfortable with her own weight since her pregnancy. I don't know if she was ever as self conscious about it as Ani, but it still makes me a little sad to be reminded of it. I say that, keeping in mind that I am fully and personally aware of image and weight expectations placed on actresses. It is a plot device that is difficult for me to watch mostly because it's Jessica playing the part. She is adorable and funny and sweet and I don't like to be reminded that she's not happy with her body even if it is completely understandable. The way she's playing it with Ani is absolutely perfect!

Venice: Episode 202 - October 20, 2010

Owen and Sami wake up in their South African Village. I have Owen's sleeping bag!!! :) They are cute. Owen tells Sami that they built a cell tower last night in the village. So he now gets all of the messages that Gina left for him telling him about The Colonel's stroke.

Ani shows up at Lara's with soy latte and tells her that she has to go meet Gina because of The Colonel's stroke. Jamie called her to let her know, she hasn't talked to Gina yet. Ani is looking beautiful. Okay, Jessica looks beautiful always and by default Ani is also breathtaking. Ani asks Lara if she's okay with Ani visiting Gina. Lara says that Gina is Ani's past, and that she herself is Ani's "here and now".

Owen and Sami and Gina are talking about The Colonel's stroke. Owen tries to figure out why Gina was there when it happened. She's evasive for obvious reasons and Owen finally backs off when Sami steps in. Sami suggests a round-the-clock nurse so that neither Gina nor Owen has to stay with him and he doesn't have to go to a rehab facility. Sami leaves and is being watched/followed by someone in grey shorts.

Guya tells Gina that Van is coming home and looking to work things out with Owen. When she hangs up with Gina she turns around and sees the mystery woman from the previous night. She asks if she's there for an appointment and turns around to check her schedule. When she turns back around the mystery woman has disappeared without ever having said a word.

Katherine is at High Bar and sees a young woman there. She starts talking to herself and practicing many different pick-up scenarios. She's not doing well working up to asking the woman out, but Alan walks up to her and distracts her. Apparently Alan calls her Elizabeth and is the only one to do so.

Gina and Jamie are walking on the beach debriefing each other about the event of the last night. Jamie tells Gina that the dead hooker wasn't from a service but someone that The Colonel was seeing exclusively (although the same wasn't true for her). Jamie also tells Gina that the woman's alias was Candy Cane. They share a laugh before Gina takes comfort in a hug from Jamie. It's been a long few hours. .

Sami is approached my Van on the beach and they share stories of world travel she tells him that she volunteers at a soup kitchen and suggests that he try it too. She makes sure to let him know that she has a boyfriend.

Gina is sitting on the beach and Ani walks up and sits next to her. Gina is surprised and comforted and grateful that Ani is there. Ani says that "Of course I am (here)." and takes Gina's hand in both of hers. They are both killing this little scene without doing much of anything because Jessica and Crystal can rock the unspoken conveyances.

Venice: Episode 201 - September 29, 2010

I could have sworn that I had already written a review of the first episode of the season, but if I did I have no idea where it went so......


The episode opens with a recap "Previously on Venice" for which I am grateful. Not that I haven't watched the season one episodes recently, but it's a great way to introduce new viewers to the second season.

Gina and The Colonel are arguing over the dead body that he's just shown her. He's telling her that she's going to help him and she says that she's not. That he's only thinking of himself and not about her career or life. Personally I was surprised that she even showed up when he called at the end of last season, but I know that I would do the same thing in her situation. Just as GIna is going to open the door and leave, The Colonel collspes and GIna calls 911. She then calls someone to help her. Her voice is calm and measured so you know she's calling for help with the dead body.

Lara is annoyed with her editor and is not in a good mood then turns around to find Ani making her a nice snack . Lara has given her a key to use anytime she wants. Lara is ranting about her editor and gets up to take a shot of something harder than wine, then comes back to pick up her glass. Ani is watching with concern and a bit of shock. When Lara sits back down Ani moves in behind her to massages her shoulders and relax her. Lara asks about Ani's work and while Ani is having problems with jobs being postponed and rescheduled she's not nearly as angry about them as Lara and kind of brushes them off. She tells Lara that she Googles the New York TImes bestseller list every morning and sees the picture of Lara and says, "That's my girlfriend!" Lara says that Ani is adorable and who can argue with that, because in fact Jessica is playing her so very very well. They get up to dance and kiss. The look in Ani's eyes seems to say that she's trying to distract Lara from her bad mood. She seems to get the drinking issue and is instead offering herself as a substitute. While sweet, that tactic doesn't work well in the long run and can end up being just as detrimental to Ani, causing her to lose herself.

Guya sees a woman outside and is stunned but turns away for a moment and when she looks back the woman (Liz Keifer) is gone. Guya gets a phone call presumabley to tell her about The Colonel collapsing.

Owen has created a little African Village for Sami where there is no cell service, but there is a picnic. They make love on the sleeping bag he's set out in the living room.

Jess (Venice fan "bidforvenice" on Twiter, Anita) is filling in for Tracy and meeting with Michelle. We learn from this conversation that Gina and Tracy are over and that Tracy has thrown herself into her work.

Jamie is 'The Cleaner' and is taking care of things at The Colonel's house. He wonders what he's gotten himself into, and we wonder the same thing. Poor Jamie.

Gina is looking through a box of photos and comes across one that has to have been her mother and father and herself when she was an infant. Then she comes across one of her and Ani (one of the photos of Crystal and Jessica at Crystal's CCnFriends fan luncheon in October of 2009) and breaks down into sobs. Poor Gina.

Crystal, Jessica, Jordan, Harrison and Nadia really turned in great performances for this opening episode. That's not to says that anyone else sucked mind you, just that those five characters had much more layered scenes emotionally in this episode.

Days: Tuesday, August 17, 2010

Hope is in the court room and her public defender is wanting to know why she picked him, a rookie. She says that she doesn't want to waste the court's time and money. That she plead guilty and she's going to prison. Bo comes up behind her and says no she isn't.

Nathan comes to Mel's rescue and gets his arm hurt in the meantime.

Ian (Stephanie's doppelganger) has pulled his hair back into a pony tail so they don't look quite so much alike. He agrees to see what he can do about getting the paternity test results for her.

When Daniel comes upon Chloe and Carly and asks what's up Carly starts to make an excuse, but Chloe says that it's time to tell him the truth. Um, yeah. I'm thinking that's NOT going to happen.

Replay of Nicole's whining and Rafe spotting her as an easy target.

Replay of Stefano seeing Sami in the living room doorway. This time he says "arranged Sydney's kidnapping" though instead of just "arranged the kidnapping" like he did on Monday. Sami says, 'What did you say?'

Nicole throws a drink in Rafe's face.

Sami says that it sounded like Stefano said that E.J. was planning on taking Sydney away. She says that she wants to be with her kids. E.J. says that he was thinking of stealing her away for a bit after the wedding. Sami says that maybe he regrets being involved with a woman with four children.

Nathan assesses Mel's neck where the guy grabbed her and says that she'll have bruises. She thanks him again for helping her.

Chloe tells Daniel that Carly is giving her a present for her birthday. Girl time with facials etc. Daniel is surprised. Carly says that it's really for him since he wants them to get along, they're going to spend time together. Seeee Chloe just keeps digging herself deeper. Carly's going to smack her one of these day.

Bo is trying to convince a very martyrdom intent Hope to not give in and to fight prison. Doug and Julie are watching and Doug takes Bo out of the room. They are meddlesome and it annoys me.

Rafe throws out a guy for being a jerk to Nicole about her being Misty Circle. She was very shaken up and thanks him. He says that he should apologize to her.

Lexi overhears E.J. and Sami's news and congratulates them.

Mel tells Nathan he should get his arm x-rayed. He offers to take her home.

Daniel is happy that Carly and Chloe are trying to get along. This is eating Carly up inside.

Ian has gotten to the file with the paternity tests on the St Mary's computer. But the tests results for Dana Scott aren't in.

Nicole is sulking in self pity. No, Rafe, she's right. No one needs to apologize to her. (Shallow side-note: The bartender is cuuuuute!) Ooooooo. Rafe was just trying to get Nicole to drop her defenses.

Chloe tells Daniel that she's learned a lot about Carly in the last few days and that she's come to see her in a new light. Daniel says that the new baby has made them a family.

Stefano tells Sami that he was wrong. Cut to E.J. telling Lexi that Rafe is out of the picture.

Rafe tells Nicole that Sami says that he's so jealous that he doesn't see that E.J. has changed. Nicole scoffs and buys the next round of drinks. Rafe is sooooo baiting her by telling her things that happened when Sydney was kidnapped and how sad E.J. was. Nicole doesn't believe it and Rafe in a fake slur asks Nicole to tell him that E.J. is a good guy. She says that she's not sure she can do that. I hope this works out for Rafe. :)

Daniel is on the phone with Mel she's going to meet them at the pier. He sends Chloe off so they can talk about her birthday surprise in private. Mel shows up and Carly and Daniel both immediately, notice her new bruises and ask about them simultaneously.
Carly: : Are those bruises on your throat?!?
Daniel: Wait, why aren't you... what happened to you?
Mel gulps and says, "That's a lot of parenting at one time." I have to add another Shallow Side-Note here. I absolutely LOVE when Crystal plays a character in 'mom mode' she always manages to convey layers of concern, love, protectiveness, and situationally appropriate anger in just the right amounts at the same time. Mel tells them that some guy got out of hand at the clinic but that Nathan took care of it.

Stephanie and Ian tell Nathan that he's helping her with computer programming stuff. He tells her that a guy freaked out at the clinic then goes to shower. Ian tells her that a girl as pretty as her shouldn't have to fight to keep a guy. I like Ian. I still don't like Stephanie. When Nathan comes back out he tells Stephanie that they freaked out guy at the clinic tried to strangle Mel. Stephanie says that he must know her well then. Nathan gives her a look.

Carly is asking Mel if she's sure she's okay and she's being all mommy to her. Soooo sweet! Mel asks Daniel to drive her home to change and they can talk about Chloe's present in the car. This of course makes Carly tense up and Mel notices and asks what's up. Daniel says that Carly managed to make friends with Chloe then they leave. Carly pulls out her phone and starts dialing or texting.

Stefano and Sami call a pseudo truce. Lexi is really trying to make sure E.J. isn't blind sided by the possibility of Rafe not having given up. Sami tells Lexi and E.J. that Stefano was nice to her.

Nicole is suspicious of Rafe now.

Doug tells Hope to trust Bo. Bo tells her that there's been a change of plans.

Carly calls to check on the test results to make sure they'll be available in the morning. She calls Chloe to confirm.

Nicole frisks Rafe for a wire and ends up losing her balance and falling on him. Cue sexual tension.

Daniel asks Carly opinion about a bracelet that he's giving Chloe. Aaawwww. He's excited that he'll get to tell everyone that he's going to be a father. Of course Carly is a little concerned since she knows he might not be.

Sami is caught off guard when Stefano and Will walk in on her kissing E.J.

Rafe is still on Nicole's trail.

Will is upset and Sami chases after him to try and get him to understand. Yeah, not gonna happen Sami.

Rafe has a mystery person in his pocket who he thinks is going to help him with Nicole.

Chloe and Philip fret about Nathan finding out about 'the sex on the couch'.
Daniel is trying to get Carly to open about about why she's so guarded and emotionally exhausted right now. She escapes by leaving him alone at the table at Cheatin' Heart.

Stephanie is annoying and tells Melanie that she probably doesn't want to work where her parents do. Mel says that she likes working with her parents. Aawwww. :) Oh! I guess Stephanie was at St Mary's hospital and Mel is there for her interview.

Rafe has called on .... dun dun dun.... Victor to help him with Nicole. Ha!

Will tells Sami that Rafe was different because he might have worked out and been a real part of the family unlike E.J.

Rafe might not have Victor in his corner. Victor needs more information that Rafe's not willing to give.

Stephanie is being annoying.

Philip doesn't want to leave Mel alone in the neighborhood where the clinic is. Mel says, "You're right. They should put free clinic's in safer areas." Hahaha. :) Oh, Mel is not alone, Nathan is working there too.

Daniel gives Chloe a silver spoon, fork and cup set for the baby. Chloe's feeling guilty and leaves Daniel alone for a minute. Sister Ann (from St Mary's) shows up and Daniel invites her to sit and meet Chloe.

Rafe tells Victor of his suspicions involving E.J. hiring Anna to kidnap Sydney and Nicole knowing about it.

Okay, Stephanie has called in a guy that looks an awful lot like her to help get the password for the St Mary's records system.

Carly walks back into Cheatin' Heart and lock eyes with Chloe who stopped dead while coming out of the bathroom when she spotted Sister Ann. Carly follows Chloe's terrified gaze and sees Sister Ann sitting with Daniel.

Sami and E.J. tell Roman and Caroline that they are engaged.

Rafe tells Victor that if Nicole is put away then she can't get her hooks into Brady. Hhmmm. This might be an offer that Victor can't refuse. :P

Stefano coaches Will into accepting E.J. and Sami's engagement. Um, ew.

E.J. gives Roman an impassioned speech on fatherhood and love and setting an example for Sydney. Um, okay. Uh. No.

Carly shoos Chloe back into the bathroom hallway then she goes to Daniel's table. Aaawwww! Carly said that she ran out because she has to take Ciara to a Brownie meeting. Even if it's not true, I love love love that it's something that Carly might be doing. Ciara needs Carly to be a parent to her. Carly is an awesome mom.
Sister Ann has to leave. Carly says, "So what's a nun doing in a bar?" Heeheee. :)
Daniel gets a call and has to leave. He asks Carly to go check on Chloe since she's been in the bathroom so long. Carly calls Chloe and says that they have to talk.

Okay, Ian (the Stephanie look-alike)has figured out that she wants something and agrees to it. He can read her very well. Smart guy.

Victor asks Rafe if he knows about Nicole's having been a porn star. Victor tells him that her dad was the one who got her started and that inside she's a broken little girl. Victor tells Rafe to convince Nicole that he's her white knight and she'll owe him. He says to do it before Brady falls again. Ooops. Too late!
Brady is drinking and tells Nicole that he's done listening to her.

Mel gets very hesitantly attacked by someone at the clinic.

Chloe and Carly meet on the pier (for yet another very public private conversation) and Carly says that she'll pick up Chloe first thing in the morning. Daniel walks up and has overheard that last line. He wonders what's up.

E.J. and Stefano are in the living room at the mansion. Stefano asks what would happen if Sami found out that E.J. had arranged the kidnapping. E.J. shushes Stefano and camera cuts to Sami in the doorway looking not happy.

Nicole is all frustrated in a very stilted soliloquy that she doesn't have the control over E.J. and Brady that she'd thought she'd have.

Recap of Daniel walking into Dana Scott's room. There is a long shot of Mel and Carly and they are 'mom and daughter' twins. Their shirts are different colors, but the same styles and they are both wearing the same kind of necklace.

Dr Baker recognizes and calls Hope's name. Bo asks her if he knows him.

Seriously Daniel, STOP! I'm not kidding with as adamant as he's being and as resistant to Carly's requests about the person who is NOT his patient as he is I would not want him for my doctor. I don't care how much of a crush I had on Shawn Christian when I was younger, I would not want this version of Dr Jonas near me. Carly tells him to stop again and then he turns on her and wants to know why she's so opposed to him seeing the woman. The better question Daniel is Why are you so determined to see this woman that you have no reason to talk to let alone the fact that you keep trying to make her let you see her. Obviously she isn't comfortable with that and it isn't your place to try and force yourself on her in what ever capacity. >:(

Dr Baker says that Detective Brady doesn't know him, but that he knows her because he saw her picture. Hope says that she does know him, but Avenger didn't mention him on the tape so I'm guessing that not what she's going to say. Roman says that Dr baker is the one who bought the materials and is an accomplice in trying to kill Bo.

Carly explains to Daniel that Ms Scott is from the Middle East and has to abide by strict rules including not showing her face in public or to a strange man. Oh, now he understands, but questions the need for an amnio. Carly says, "Because at one point she had serious doubts about her husband and she turned to someone else. And now she and her husband are getting back together and she needs to know who the father of the baby is, understandably." Thankfully Daniel finally gives up and leaves. He is sooooooooo frustrating. He needs to listen to Carly!

Daniel says, "Now I feel like an ass." Good! Maybe next time you'll listen to her! >:( Mel says that she doesn't believe it.

Aawwww Dr Baker really cares about her. He's trying to let her off the hook, but she's determined to tell the truth. She tells Roman that she was behind the muggings and that she tried to kill Bo.

Daniel asks Mel if she thinks that Carly is lying and Mel says, no that she can't believe that Carly can find the time to do everything she does.

Dr baker tries to stop hope from confessing but she goes on and says that she was the one. She apologizes to Bo again and to Roman. Roman asks Bo if they made it up to get Baker to confess. Bo assures him that it isn't, but that it makes sense that he's her accomplice.

Sister Anne is trying to steal Mel after she graduates. She invites her to work at St Mary's.

Bo and Hope are acting like she's in danger of getting sentenced to the electric chair. they just need to explain that it was the medication and that when she's not taking it there isn't any danger. Brady is after Dr Baker and the cop is holding him back.

Carolyn and Doug and Julie are all ragging on Carly. Apparently Julie didn't let Doug know that Hope had been taking sleeping pills.

Hope is doing a very inaccurate job of trying to convince Roman that Hope was the mugger. She finally yells at Bo enough to convince him to give Roman the video recording from last night.

Carly leaves Chloe to get dressed and tells her that Mel and Daniel are probably gone so she should be okay.

Ha! Sister Anne says that St Mary's hiring standards are very high. Um? Is Sister Anne an escapee from the mental ward? If they have high standards and she's been complaining about the ineptitude all day, then I would really hate to see 'poor' standards.

Roman and Bo and Hope are watching the video of Avenger. Bo explains that Hope was taking sleeping pills and what the side affects were. Hope apologizes to Roman again and he goes over and hugs her. Bo says that he's the one who needs to apologize because his actions started all of this.

Carly sees Mel still in the lobby of St Mary's. She takes her for coffee so that Chloe doesn't run into her. Chloe is leaving and runs into Daniel who apparently hasn't left yet.

Hope tells Bo that it isn't his fault. He says that it is his fault that he hurt her so much that she had to take the pills. I have to agree with Hope here. It's not Bo's fault that Hope need help to deal. He's not the one who left first anyway.

Mel and Carly are talking and Mel says that she's really proud of her. Carly says that she hopes she'll always feel that way.

Chloe tells Daniel that she got the opera tickets early and came to find him.

A very emotional Bo arrests Hope and reads her the charges.

Carly wants to know what Mel is doing there and Mel asks her the same thing. She asks Carly if she has a patient here too and when Carly says that she's there with a friend Mel asks if it's someone she knows. Carly is going to HATE having to lie to her if she can't wordsmith her way around it.

Daniel is trying to get Donna Scott to talk to him and open the curtain. Chloe is terrified (rightly so) and doesn't speak and holds the curtain closed.

Roman has Dr Baker in the station and he knows that he purchased the materials that were used to try to set fire to Bo. Roman is quizzing him.

Recap of Ciara coming home. Bo and Hope tell her that it might be awhile before Hope comes back. She and Bo are getting ready to head to the station.

Ooooooo Roman got Dr Baker's real name, and realizes that he's the one who delivered Sydney and switched her with Grace. Dr Baker says that he didn't plan any of it. Dude is going to roll on the girls isn't he?

Bo has Julie coming over to look after Ciara.

Carly hedges about her friend and changes the subject back to why Mel is there. Sister Anne (still not the uber cool blonde one from Guiding Light) comes up and sees Mel and Carly together and is surprised that they already met. Carly says that they know each other from more than work. Mel says that Carly is her mom. Sister Anne says that's a coincidence since she just met Mel's dad. Mel tells Carly that Daniel is there on a consult and she's observing.

Roman asks Dr Baker who did plan everything since he didn't. Dr Baker clams up and requests an attorney. Hope is snuggling with Ciara before she has to leave. Hope apologizes for not believing Ciara about the wallets and the lipstick and Uncle Justin. She says, "You were right. Mommy was wrong." Ciara begs Bo to make Hope stay.

Carly is panicked about Daniel being there on a consult. When she finds out that he's there for a burn victim then she relaxes. Mel says that that's why she's there to learn how to talk to and interact with burn patients. Carly turns to her an says that there is a lot of psychology involved noting that the patient has to give consent first before allowing Mel to shadow. The Sister tells Mel that she's lucky to have two parents who are doctors and that she'll no doubt be a very gifted nurse. Mel gets a little shy and says, "I do alright." Carly says, "Don't listen to her, she's at the top of her class." They go back and forth with the love and appreciation. It's so great to see Mel responding to Carly this way and Carly is eating it up and loving that Mel isn't rejecting her affection anymore either. When the Sister asks the girl at the desk if she showed Daniel to the patient's room, she replies, "He's in with Ms Scott right now." Carly is shocked and doesn't edit her tone when she automatically reacts and blurts out, Ms Scott!?!" Heeheehee. Seriously that was so totally an awesome delivery of that line.

Daniel keeps talking to Ms Scott and she won't open the curtain. Daniel says that he has an idea and since she won't talk to him then maybe she'll talk to someone who has been through a lot and is an Angel in his life. He says, "Her name is Chloe..." and 'Dana' tiptoes over to her purse to grab her phone and silence it.

The Sister calms Carly down and explains that they have two patients with the same last name and similar first names. The Sister has to leave to make a call and Carly sends Mel to get sodas from the machine. Carly goes over to Josie (the nurse at the desk) and asks her if she sent Dr Jonas to Dana Scott in room six. Josie starts out that no, she sent him to Donna Scott in room..... but cant' remember and get frustrated saying that she's so bad with these charts. Um.... wow... they really shouldn't let you back in class after the first day if you can't keep patient's charts straight. Especially when these files are like file folders and have the names on labels on the clearly visible tabs. Now back to Carly and her awesomeness. "Josie. I need you to focus. Focus okay? Where did you send Dr Jonas?" Josie has to think and all she can come up with so far is, "Uuuh?"

Chloe gets to her phone and Daniel is leaving her a voice mail. Woohoo, the phone didn't ring. Well 'Woohoo' for Chloe. I'm ready for this to be over with Carly needs her own life back. Chloe goes back to hold the curtain closed. Daniel is talking about family and love and Chloe gasps/sobs Daniel thinks that he recognizes her voice and asks if he knows her.

Bo is hugging Ciara now and tells Hope that they can't do this. That they can't do it to Ciara or to Hope or to the family. Hope is just crying. Dude, do NOT back down. Hope needs to go to the padded condos for a little bit. She really, really needs non-medicinal therapy to help her get over everything, including what happened BECAUSE of the meds prescribed by her doctor.

The Sister is a little creepy now. Doesn't she have other things to do rather than stalk Mel, Carly and Daniel? I mean the nurses are running amuck and can't even take an extra second to actually read a patient's name, yet she's stopping and talking to Mel every 5 minutes. She tells Mel that both of her parents are generous to volunteer their time like this. Mel goes on to gush about them being generous and mentions that she was adopted and just found out that they were her biological parents recently. This makes her contemplate why Carly is jumpy running into Daniel when she'd normally be fine with it.

Daniel is still talking to 'Donna Scott' and starts to open the curtain. Chloe has stepped back and resigned herself, but Carly gets there and stops him before he can to it.

Julie is there and she tells them to stay there and 'work things out' and she'll take Ciara to the park. Bo tries to give Hope and out and asks her if she's sure. Hope says that yes they have to do this.

Bo has to pull Ciara away from a crying Hope. Julie demands to know what's going on, but Hope can't talk and Bo won't tell her yet. Julie says, that he won't tell her later he'll tell her now and that whatever it is she knows that it's his fault. Julie needs a

The Sister tells Mel that she thinks Carly is just concerned for her patient. Mel asks if the Sister knows why Carly's patient is here but the Sister gets a phone call she has to take. Mel asks Josie if she knows where Dr Manning went. Josie has no idea who she's talking to and says, "Yeah, and I hope she stays there." Mel asks is Carly did something to upset her and Josie says, "Hey, I just made one teeny tiny mistake okay." Mel asks, "What was the mistake?"

Daniel asks Carly what she's doing there. She explains that there are two patients, Dana and Donna Scott. Carly still avoids outright lying to Daniel by saying that Dana Scott speaks very little English, that she married an American and that that's why she didn't respond to Daniel when he called her by the wrong name. He asks Carly how she knows and she says, "Because I brought her in." She tells him that his patient is in room eleven and for him to check at the desk. After he leaves Carly goes and opens the curtain. Chloe is freaked out and Carly tries to reassure her. Chloe says that it's not okay then starts talking about how carrying and warm Daniel was being. Chloe is worried about Daniel seeing her and Carly promises that he won't. Then she leaves the room. At the desk Daniel confirms to Carly that she was right and his patient was in room eleven. He then tells Carly that her patient (even being from the center where Carly works with immigrants ) seems to understand English since she reacted and started crying when he was talking about family. He tells Carly that he even recognized her voice.

Julie is over the top. She needs to stop yelling and stop laying into Bo. She's completely ignoring the crying and distraught Hope in the corner. The one she's claiming to protect. Hope jumps in to defend Bo and Julie starts laying into her about always protecting him. Question Julie........ If you think that Bo is that bad for Hope (it sounds like she sees Hope as being in an abusive relationship with Bo) then why in the 'H' 'E' double hockey sticks would you want them to stay together?!?! Whether it's true or not, if you believe he's that bad for her then how can you justify wanting her to be with him? Once more for good measure. Hope tells Julie that it's entirely her fault and that she doesn't know if she can forgive herself for what she did to him. She tells Julie she'll explain later and asks Bo to leave with her.

Carly asks Daniel why she would have cried at anything he said. He agrees. He asks her why her patient is there and she says that she doesn't want her discussing it with anyone. Mel says that she knows because Josie blabbed the whole thing and that she's there for an amniocentesis. Daniel is embarrassed to have been talking about facial reconstruction to a person who's there for an amnio. Carly tells him that he really shouldn't be late for his consult and sends him off again toward room eleven (which he still hasn't managed to go to) but he says he'll go in a few minutes but first he wants to talk to her patient again. Um, dude, her patient didn't want to talk to you to begin with. Stay the frell away!

Brady brings Nicole to the station to confess, and she runs into Dr Baker. Roman asks her if she'll testify against him. Nicole gets quiet, Brady says that whenever Nicole says that something is true it's usually not, and vice versa. Roman think that's a pretty good assessment.

Carly tells Daniel that he can't just walk in and talk to her patient and get her upset again. He says, "It will just be for a few minutes, excuse me." Seriously, Daniel. You are quickly sliding down my likeability meter here.
Rule number 1: Listen to Carly.
Rule number 2: Don't think that you know better than Carly.
Rule number 3: Carly is smarter than you and has been around more criminals than you. She knows the game, she knows how to survive and there isn't anything that you can teach her that she doesn't already know. Which brings me to....
Rule number 4: Listen to Carly.
Carly chases off to stop Daniel. Luckily he knock on the door giving Chloe time to pull the curtain closed before he gets in there. Carly and Mel follow but Daniel says that he has to see her to know that she understands his apology. Really Daniel? She could be afraid of men, she could have had very very traumatic things happen surrounding her pregnancy. You do NOT push yourself on a patient. Especially someone else's at the expense of your own. How long has Donna Scott been waiting? Mel, sweetie I beg of you, please please do not look to your Dad for an example of how to interact with patients.

Bo and Hope walk into the station where Brady and Nicole and Roman and Dr Baker and a couple of random officers are in the lobby. Good times are coming! :)

Hope is sleeping while Bo is looking online doing research on the drug that she was taking.

Ah, Carly is calling Chloe to let her know she's on her way to St Mary's. Chloe wants to back out, but Carly tells her that she needs to find out. Daniel tells her that his consult got re-scheduled and that he wants her to spend the day with him. He says that he won't take 'No' for an answer.

Mel calls Brady, but he says it's not a good time. He's learning some things about Nicole since he found her bank her account.

Aaaannnnd Hope is awake. So long Avenger. :)

Chloe tells Daniel that she's going to Chicago to buy tickets for Faust. He tells her that he'll go with her then. She's not too good at this. :)

Hope doesn't remember what happened last night. Bo doesn't say anything and Hope gets frightened that there is something wrong with Ciara.

Ooops. Daniel's consult is back on. Chloe's off the hook. Or so she thinks.

Bo is trying to calm Hope and offers her coffee. He asks her what happened before she went to bed early last night. She tells him about Carly being there and Vivian arguing with her. Hope says that it was very unsettling. She said the details struck a chord with her and made her feel anxious inside. He asks if she had trouble falling asleep. She says that she thought she would so she took a sleeping pill. He holds up a prescription bottle and tells her that it's the answer to all of her questions.

Hope sees Bo's bandaged hand and asks him what happened. He plays it off as a kitchen accident. He tells her that they found the mugger and then plays her the video that he made. Hope is appalled and starts crying.

Daniel shows up at Mels to take her to his consult. He says that Chloe wasn't as upset as Mel thought she'd be that the cancellation of the consult got 'un' cancelled. Mel says that it means that Chloe is keeping something from him.

Carly thanks Sister Anne (not the really cool Otalia friendly Sister Anne from Guiding Light though) for squeezing them into the schedule. The Sister is most happy to oblige and be able to repay Carly for all of the help she's given the hospital in the past. She sends Dana Scott (Chloe) to change into her gown and wait for the OBGYN. The sister says that they have had many scheduling conflicts today and that the new nurses have not learned that God is in the details. She says that He is really testing her today with some of these girls. I smell a set up for a faulty paternity test. Hhhmmmm? Wow! Carly got the opera tickets to validate Chloe's cover story to Daniel. She just pulled a few strings. I think it says a lot for someone who has so many strings ripe for pulling, that she's not playing puppet master. I repeat what I've said before. Carly is a good person! Chloe is moved (for a second at least) by Carly's thoughtfulness and says, "I can't thank you enough." Carly is surprised, "Thank me?" Chloe says that she was reluctant, but now she knows that she wants to know who the father is.

Hope is freaked out over the video. Something clicks in her brain and she stops crying. She felt a connection at the beginning of the case. Bo tells her that they'll figure it out. That there is a lot that she doesn't remember.

Mel thinks that Chloe maybe keeping a surprise for the baby since it's her first child. And his first child, that he was there to raise. He regrets having missed her 'first' and she that the important thing is that he's here now and that she hopes he knows that she loves him. They hug. Aaawwwww!!!!!

Carly giggles and asks Chloe what she's smiling at. Chloe was thinking that they were getting along really well know and that it's a miracle in itself, but that wouldn't it be funny if she asked Carly to be the baby's Godmother. Chloe, that's only a good idea if the baby is Daniel's. Carly says, "Why would that be....?" Then she kind of gasps and whispers. "Victor! Oh he would love that wouldn't he?" Chloe has a huge smile on her face. She's giddy about the idea. Carly stops laughing and says that there a probably plenty of other people that Chloe would rather have. Chloe says that she loves Nicole, but that she's not going to trust her with the guardianship of her child. She says that thinking about it, Carly would make a great Godmother. That she's patient and strong and a good role model and Daniel would certainly approve. Chloe says that she's really starting to see Carly the way Daniel does. Carly says, "Chloe, thank you, and for the record, if you were to ask me to be the baby's Godmother, I would be honored."

Bo has just shown Hope the entire tape he made of his conversation with Avenger. Then he asks her if she's okay. Um, no Bo, she's not okay. Would you be after seeing yourself on tape saying those things and not remember having said them. He tells her that it's the pills, it wasn't her. But she says that there is no fixing this and that she has to put an end to it.

Carly leaves Chloe in the exam room while she goes to find the doctor to run the paternity test.

Sister Anne tells Daniel his patient is Donna Scott a burn victim. She asks the nurse for the file and of course the pre-established non-detail oriented nurse hands her the files for Dana Scott (Chloe's alias).

Hope thanks Bo for being so patient and not judging. She tells him that he has to arrest her.

The nurse goes to show Daniel to the patient's room. No one has looked at the file yet. Also, I have a question. The nurse handed the Dana Scott file to him, but said that the file was for Donna Scott. Wouldn't she end up taking him to Donna Scott's room anyway. Unless of course she looked at the file that he's holding to get the room number (which she hasn't yet) in which case she'd see that the name was not Donna, but Dana?

Bo doesn't want Hope to turn herself in. Roman calls Bo on his cell phone. Roman says that he's got a break in Bo's attempted murder case. Roman asks where Hope is, and Bo says that she's with him.

Carly runs into Mel at the desk at St Mary's which is now empty. Daniel is in Chloe's rooms and she's behind the curtain when he asks 'Ms Scott' if she's there and if he can pull the curtain back.

Hope says that they need to take the camera with them to show Roman. Bo says it can wait, but Hope says taht they need to do it for her victims, and for Arianna. Ciara comes home and is very happy to see her mommy. Big hugs and Hope is teary. Awww.

Carly is doing a 'gene mapping' study to get DNA info from Daniel. He sees that she's worried and she says that she will be until she's sure that Bo isn't in danger anymore.

Daniel says they got all of the drugs out of Bo's system quickly. Carly says that she's still worried for him.

Bo has blocked Avenger's swing, but he's struggling with her to keep the knife away from his throat. He says, "What are you doing?" Avenger says, "Trying to kill you." well, okay, then. Now that we've stated the obvious.....

Faye tells Rafe that Niki is mixed up in some very bad things, but that she's not going to turn her over to him. He tells her that he's not going after Niki.

Dr Baker is about to leave Salem when a cop comes up and arrests him. Ha! :)

Bo and Avenger are struggling with the knife and 'discussing' what's going on. She says that he can't just leave a damsel in distress, first it was Billy and now it's Carly. Uummm? Avenger, Ma'am? Carly was there before Billy ever was and when you were dead, so, um, yeah....She says that he won't ruin their daughter's life like he did hers, "I may have failed last night, but this time, I'm gonna rip your heart out." Uh, Bo. Now is not the time to 'get the situation under control' now is the time to RUN! Go get back, preferably in the form of all female officers who are in no danger from Avenger, then hide out at the hospital with Carly. Yep. This is what you should do. She has stepped back from him, but is wielding the knife quite gleefully. I think Kristian really likes playing Avenger. :)

Mel tells Chloe that she hopes the baby is a little girl. She wants a little sister. Aaawwww! Chloe and Mel are having a very nice stepmom/stepdaughter conversation.

Daniel tells Carly that he's glad she told him to work things out with Chloe. She says that the second trimester is so much better than the first, that you get you appetite back etc. He says that he wished he had been there. She gets a little sad and says that she hopes he knows that she wishes that too. He says that he's here now.

Bo is having trouble coming to terms with it being "Hope" who drugged him. He reminds her that he begged her not to leave. She says that she told him she wanted to come home one day and he told her it wasn't a good time. Bo says, "You don't want me dead." Avenger says, "She doesn't!" She makes another swing and he knocks that knife away from her. They struggle and Bo subdues her by wrapping his arms around her from behind. He says, "I don't want to hurt you Hope." She says, as she's losing energy, "Hurt me? You killed me. You killed me."

Mel is at the hospital with Carly and says that she's ready for her swab for the 'gene study'. Daniel seeing them and thanks Mel for taking baby books to Chloe. He's just gotten off the phone with her and she mentioned it to him. Mel gets all cute talking about it not being a big deal, but she's all gushing over the cute baby things she found. Carly is enjoying seeing Mel so happy. Once Daniel walks away Mel gets a little contemplative look. Carly asks her what's wrong. Mel is like, "What makes you think something's wrong?" Carly says, "A mother knows these things." Aawawwww! So cute! Mel says that she doesn't think Chloe likes her because when she was talking about helping out with the baby after it was born that Chloe got this look that was like, "When Daniel and I were hooking up you weren't part of the equation so don't think that you are now." Carly stops her before she can continue and reassures her that whatever it was had nothing to do with Mel. Mel says that she's trying really hard to be nice to Chloe, but that one time she "told her that if she ever hurt Daniel I would make her pay. And now I think that no matter what I do that's always in the back of her mind." Carly kind of shrugs and quirks her eyebrow like she's thinking, "maybe. could be."

Avenger says, "You're enjoying this aren't you?" Ha! Bo has her handcuffed to a chair in the living room. He says he's not. He was setting up a video camera while he was bandaging his hand. He wants Avenger to talk to him and explain herself. Bo is all planning things out, but he still should have called or texted someone to let them know what was up.

Mel is talking to another nursing student when she sees Carly behind the desk. She asks the other girl if she's met Dr Manning. Then when Carly comes up to them she introduces them, "Dr Manning this is Kathleen Bushman. She's a first year." Carly says, "Nice to meet you Kathleen." Mel says, "Dr Manning is an amazing surgeon, and I'm not just saying that 'cause she's my mom." Mel is all smiley and proud. Carly is all touched and happy and even blushes a little. Aawwwwww!!!!!!!

Rafe isn't really getting anywhere with Faye. She's telling him that Nicole sent her something, but won't show him what it is.

Avenger says that when she says Bo kissing Carly and he admitted that they were sleeping together that she knew that they were together and it wasn't going to change. She says that she went to the doctor to help her sleep and he told her that she needed to find a way to deal with her anger. He asks if that's when she started mugging men and taking their wallets. She asks how he knew about the wallets and he says that Ciara told him. Avenger says, "She's been a problem this whole time." Bo is a little shocked which is kind of hard to do given the current situation of finding out that 'Hope' was the mugger and the one who tried to kill him very gruesomely last night. "She's been a problem? You're the one mugging people." Avenger says, "I only went after the ones who had done something I hated." Oh, well. That's okay then I'm sure. Please continue Miss Avenger Ma'am. Bo wants to know what Brady did. He was loyal to Nicole after she kidnapped Sydney. Abe? Wasn't doing anything to get rid of the crooked D.A. She says that she would come home afterwards and sleep like a baby, but then that stopped working and she realized that the only man she wanted power over was Bo. That the only way to have peace was to see him dead. Now do you get it Bo? You need other people there because YOU. ARE. IN. DANGER. Do not trust the handcuffs. Call for assistance now! But no, he just looks all sad and sorry for 'Hope'

Mel is still walking around with Kathleen and see Daniel, "Oh, have I introduced you to Dr Jonas, my dad?" Kathleen says, "Wow, you are connected." :) Mel, "Daniel! Hey. This is Kathleen. She's new so don't be mean." Daniel, "I can't be mean? What fun is that?" Then he smiles, shakes her hand and welcomes Kathleen. Kathleen has to go on shift and leaves. Daniel wonders that Mel is still there. She says that after she got her cheek swabbed that one of the nurses asked her to show Kathleen around the floor. Then she looks down and admits that she volunteered, because she loves introducing people to him and to Carly and saying that they're her Dad and Mom, acknowledging that that's a change. He says that he's glad that she's getting along with Carly now. She says that she was thinking and realized that someone could tell all those lies and still genuinely mean well and that if she could get past that then she would have a Mom and a family even. Daniel and Mel hug. Aaaww.

Carly stops by to see Chloe. But it has to be quick because she's on a break. Chloe realizes that this must be hard on her because she heard about what happened to Bo. Carly says, "It hasn't been my favorite 24 hours." Carly is also worried about losing both Daniel and Melanie if they find out about the secret that she's keeping for Chloe.

Faye burned the things that Nicole sent to her. She's sorry now that it's Rafe who came searching and not some bad person like she thought might.

Avenger wants Bo to kill her since she's already dead. She talks about wanting him to hurt as much as she did and yells that she hates him and breaks down crying. He tells her that he gets that, but that there is something he wants her to know. That he still loves her.

Daniel confirms with Mel the consult at St Mary's across town.

Carly is confirming the testing at St Mary's with Chloe.

Rafe is taking the broken CD and the burned letter remnants to the lab to see if they can figure something out.

Avenger tells Bo not to tell her that he loves her. He says it's true that he'll always love her. She says, "You're the love of my life, but I'm not your anymore." He doesn't deny that and just says, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Avenger is getting tired. She falls asleep. Bo turns the camera off then uncuffs her and lays her on the couch and covers her up. Um, dude! She's asleep, that doesn't mean that the second she wakes up she won't try to kill you again. I mean 'we' know she won't because the Avenger pills will have worn off by then, but you don't know that.

Recap of Avenger dousing Bo and lighting a match.

Rafe shows up at the mansion and Sami asks if Tiffany (the secretary) isn't allowed out on school nights. He says that they weren't done talking at she says that yes if she thought there was a chance that she'd walk away from E.J. in a heartbeat. Rafe pulls her in and kisses her.. Aaaaand Sami wakes up from her dream.

E.J. tells Nicole that he didn't think anything would forge a truce between them so they need to keep this to themselves.

Chloe shows up at the hospital and asks Carly if she's positive that Daniel won't find out that she's asking for a paternity test. Carly assures her that it's confidential. Chloe is sulking from her fight at tells Carly that this whole thing is all her fault.

Nicole and E.J. leave before Rafe can hear everything, just that they're working together and keeping a secret.

Someone knocks on the door before Avenger can drop the lit match.

Dr Baker asks Nicole how she found him. She tells him that since everyone thinks he's dead then he can't be too many places. She tells him that they are off the hook for framing Ari.

Rafe shows up at the DiMera mansion.

Chloe tells Carly that Daniel is pushing for them to get married now. And she's pouting because she can't be sure that Carly won't tell him. Carly blames herself, Chloe claims a little responsibility then asks Carly if she's happy. Of course she isn't.

Daniel is the one who knocked on Bo's door. It wasn't all the way closed so he goes in and finds Bo on the floor covered in gasoline. Avenger is hiding in the other room. Daniel tries to get Bo to come to.

Rafe wants to know who who E.J. said he was going to be with. Sami says someone regarding Arianna's case. Rafe tells her that it was Nicole that he saw him with.

Chloe and Carly are having the same conversation.

Dr Baker is trying to usher Nicole out the door. She asks if he's expecting his partner in crime. He says that he doesn't know after tonight. She asks if they had a falling out. "No more fun bashing strangers in the park?" Heehee. :)

Daniel is trying to revive Bo and there are sirens in the background signally the approach of help.

Carly says that her whole take on the situation changed when she found out that Vivian was behind it. Chloe says that it did for her too, but that she still did what she did. Carly is trying to console Chloe and tell her that it's all because of Vivian's hatred of Carly with Maxine comes in and calls Carly to the E.R. for a consult.

Now Sami and Rafe are having the same conversation re: E.J.

Daniel says that it looks like Bo has drugs in his system. Daniel didn't have time to call 911 and asks how they got there. Roman says that some guy called it in. Way to go Dr Baker! :) Roman asks Daniel if he thinks that his brother will survive. Daniel says that it depends on if he got to him in time.

Chloe is meeting with Father Matt. He's not happy about her lying to Daniel. She tells him that she's pregnant and wants to know if he'll continue to keep her confidence.

Avenger is not happy with Dr Baker for tipping off Roman. He explains that he was trying to keep her out of trouble for killing Bo.

Carly comes into the room where Bo is Daniel tells her that he went to her place looking for her and found Bo unconscious and that he's got drugs in his system. She's frantic and Daniel tries to get her to calm down.

Sami questions E.J. about where he's been. He figures out what she's hinting at and says that while he was working on Arianna's case he ran into Nicole.

Rafe is at the pub when Nicole walks in.

Avenger is freaking out because she doesn't have control over the situation. She can't be what Justin wants her to be and she can't let her feelings for Bo go. He takes the blame and lets her rail. He's really concerned for her. Aawwww!!! Uh, oh! She asks him if he thinks that she's too weak.

Daniel tells Carly that there was gasoline all over Bo and the house. He is not doing anything to calm her down. She's trying to help and Daniel and Maxine have to send her out of the room. Daniel grabs her to get her attention and says, :You are not a doctor in this room. You are a loved one." Aww! Great scene from Crystal and Shawn.

Sami and E.J. .... you know how this goes...

Father Matt asks if Daniel knows that Chloe is pregnant. Heehee. She tells him that Carly is going to tell Daniel if she doesn't.

Bo is stable. Carly hugs him in thanks. Avenger is sneaking around the hospital listening in. Carly is crying because she almost lost Bo tonight. Avenger is smiling and goes into the hallway that leads to the side door of Bo's room.

Sami says that when E.J. says 'trust me' that it brings to mind every member of her family telling her not to. She tells E.J. that Marlena wants to sell the townhouse. She tells him that she was hoping that she and the kids could stay with him.

Waiter causes Nicole's wine to spill on her. He takes her to the kitchen to clean it and Rafe grabs something from her purse.

Father Matt tells Chloe that doing things her way has gotten her hurt so far. He's a smart cookie he tells her, "You don't want my advice. You want me to keep quiet, and I will."

Roman tells Carly and Daniel that the smoke alarms and sprinklers were disabled. Carly figures that whoever drugged him wanted to burn him alive. They're contemplating who would want to do that to Bo.

Avenger is in his room taunting him right now.

Vivian is annoying the doctor who is manning the desk. Heehee. Love that dayplayer! She rocks! :)

Chloe and Carly ... you know the drill. But Yay Crystal! :)

Philip and Mel: He looks kind of nauseated at the news of Chloe's pregnancy. Okay, not 'kind of' he looks like he's going to pass out any minute. Heehee. :)

Sami is on the lake beach and runs into Rafe. Aawww. :)

Chloe tells Carly that she doesn't know whose baby she's carrying.

Mel is very excited about being a big sister.

Hehe. Philip doubts the pregnancy. He's in so much denial. Mel lets him know that it's no hysterical, that Carly did the sonogram.

Carly tells Chloe that if the baby is Daniel's that she won't say anything, but you can hear her voice shaking. She tells Chloe that if Daniel finds out in any other way that not only Chloe, but Carly and Mel will lose Daniel forever.

Vivian is needling Daniel.

Sami tells Rafe that they were there last night for a family gathering. Now Rafe is a little sad and says, "With E.J.?"

Carly wonders if the man Chloe slept with will cause problems. Chloe says no, that it was a one time thing and she's never going to see him again. (Whhaaaaaa?!?)

Mel got called into the hospital and Philip says he'll go check on Chloe.

Rafe found the stuffed penguin Sami was looking for. She tells him how much the kids love the gifts he gave them and that they will never forget him. She gets all teary eyed. Rafe is being sad but strong. Sami needs to at least give him visitation.

Nicole shows E.J. that she recorded the conversation. E.J. thinks it the conversation they're having now. He starts to walk away and Nicole plays it. E.J. freezes and has scared crazy look in his eyes.

Daniel is on duty when Carly comes in. He's asking her about Vivian and Chloe. He's saying the he feels out of the loop sine she's not giving him any info.

Mel is at home, she's not needed at the hospital after all. There is a knock on the door and she opens in and sees Vivian. Love her reaction! Mel kind of stops her forward momentum and pulls her hands back and toward her shoulders in a cringe and says, "Aaah!" Killed me!!! lmao Mel is trying very hard to get rid of Vivian, but she's being too nice. She needs to go ahead and slam the door. Vivian is there to get Mel and Philip to move back into the mansion so that Victor won't have to come to Maggie's to see Philip. She thinks that's will solve her Maggie problem.

Daniel and Carly are at Java. Carly is telling Daniel what's going on without actually telling him anything. Anybody else getting dizzy? And bored?

E.J. destroyed Nicole's digital voice recorder. She can't be dim enough to have not made a copy.

Vivian tells Mel that Carly will ruin her life. That she did it to Lawrence and Bo and will come back to her.

Yeah. Nicole lets E.J. know that she made lots of copies and letters to go with them.

Daniel is leaving and tells Carly 'Thank you for being a good friend." He's not looking at her and she cuts her eyes and has that expression that says, 'Yeah, some friend.' She's talking to herself after he leaves and when Mel puts her hand on Carly's arm she jumps. Mel says that she can see that Carly is not okay.

Philip is being really annoying with Chloe and he gets that slightly psycho borderline abusive controlling look again for a minute. Can Philip not have storylines or scenes with women for a while, until after he gets some anger management classes please? He tells Chloe that he's thinking about telling Mel now that it's possible that a baby came out of their infidelity.

Mel tells Carly that she's sure that she did everything for her patient she could with the information and the time that she had. Even if she's second guessing herself now.

Chloe is talking to Philip: "This has to stay between us. Just the two of us. We don't have a choice." And of course, in walks Daniel.

It's a new day in Salem.

Carly called Chloe to see how she's feeling. Chloe is not happy and tells Carly to stop with the preaching.

Mel and Philip are at the hospital so she can pick up something. Philip is trying to get a hold of Chloe who is not answering his calls. He jumps when Stephanie comes up to him.

Chloe asks if Carly is going to tell Daniel. Carly says that she wants to continue the conversation in person. Chloe says that she can come over now. Kate comes up on the end of Carly's conversation and asks what Chloe has done now. Carly only says that Kate can add Chloe to the list of Vivian haters. Kate says that Vivian got it right for once and that Chloe deserves whatever torture Vivian has for her. She also says that Chloe doesn't deserve to have Carly in her corner. Carly says that age hasn't mellowed her at all. Kate says that is hasn't made Carly any wiser either. Carly says that Daniel wants to be with Chloe. Kate says that Daniel is an idiot and that she can't be the only one who thinks that Daniel deserves better.

At the pub Caroline is snippy with Maggie. Maggie asks Nathan to leave them alone and when he does Maggie asks what's wrong. Caroline says that she told Maggie to stay away from Victor so what is it that she's doing with him? Heehee.

Kate tells Carly that helping Chloe is a big mistake

Daniel comes home and brings Chloe his family's christening gown.

Mel and Philip run into Nathan and Stephanie on the beach.

Daniel is just heading out and opens the door to find Carly just getting ready to knock. She lets him know that she's there to see Chloe.

Caroline is upset that Victor called to request a quiet table and then Maggie walked in. She's not happy with the thought of them having a date. Victor walks in.

Daniel thanks Carly for making an effort with Chloe.

Chloe thinks that Carly is there to destroy her. They have a repeat discussion then Carly brings up finding out that Vivian was behind everything fueled by her hatred of Carly. Chloe says that yes everything was Vivian's fault. Carly points out that some of the choices were Chloe's. Then Carly sees the christening dress and asks Chloe about it.

Maggie says that Caroline and Victor have some things to work out and she leaves them at the pub.

Carly says that she thinks that Daniel will be happy if he can raise his child with Chloe and not have any regrets. Chloe thanks her and gives Carly a hug.

Philip and Mel are getting ready to go work out and he's looking in her gym bag and finds her 'big sister' t-shirt. Ooops. :)

Chloe misunderstood. Carly is only going to keep quiet until she gets a paternity test.

Mel walks in and Philip asks her about the shirt. She says that she's sure Daniel won't mind and tells him that Chloe is pregnant.

Sami and E.J. are on a picnic with the family, but of the kids I've only seen Sydney so far.

Mel is cursing Philip for eating her rocky road ice cream. Carly shows up with rocky road mint chip ice cream. They opt for no bowls two spoons straight from the carton. Mel figures something is up and asks Carly if she wants to talk about what's making her 'squirrelly'. Carly says yes, "your dad and Chloe." I like mother daughter bonding. :D

Sami and E.J. have a Chex Mix product placement. E.J. doesn't know what Chex Mix is. Then Sami conveniently spills oily salad dressing on his shirt. Now we have shirtless E.J. on the lake beach, and Sami a little distracted and trying to get oily salad dressing out of his shirt with just a bottle of water. Soooo not gonna work Sami. Water alone will not get olive oil out of a shirt. :)

Heavy dialog and cute scene from Mel and Carly.
Mel: "Um. I thought we were gonna stay out of things with Daniel and Chloe?"
Carly: "I know. I know what I said, but things are different."
Mel: "Are you talking about the baby? Oh! Did I just blab it?"
Carly: "No. No. I did the sonogram. I know she's definitely pregnant."
Mel: "Oh. Okay, but Daniel wanted to marry Chloe before she was pregnant. So what's the problem?" ::Carly flashes back to figuring out that Chloe cheated:: "Carly, is there a problem?"
Carly: "Yeah, there is."

E.J. and Sami are fighting over whether the shirt can be saved. Giovanni comes up and has found a friend from school. E.J. walks off with his son while Sami looks at Sidney and says that she can't help it E.J. has his shirt off. Will comes up with Gabby. Sami frets over his cuts and bruises from his fight with Chad. Will is annoyed to find out that E.J. is there too.

Nicole is skulking around the DiMera mansion and comes across the sonogram picture of Sidney and starts crying.

Vivian shows up at Chloe's door. She's not happy that Chloe didn't 'take care' of Carly.

Mel: "Is there something wrong with the baby?"
Carly: "No. No, everything is fine. It's just.."
Mel: "It's just... what? What happened?"
Carly: "When you're around Chloe, how does she seem to you? Is she happy? I mean are you 100% sure she won't hurt your father?"
Mel: "100%? No."

Will is helping E.J. clean up the picnic mess and have a little bonding moment. Will goes down to the lake with Sami and the kids. Gabby comes up thanks E.J. for helping Arianna.

Chloe tells Vivian that she's glad that she messed up Vivian's plan.

Mel: "Actually what bugs me about Chloe is something you said."
Carly: "What...what did I say?"
Mel: "That she is one of those people who never gets enough love."
Carly: "Right."
Mel: "I know people like that. I was people like that until I married Philip. You know, I found the right guy and now I feel like I have all the love I need and what I'm banking on is that Daniel is the right guy for Chloe. I'm scared because if she hurts him it'll kill him. Then I'll have to kill her." ::Carly looks a bit startled.:: She's never seen this part of Mel I think and wonders if she's serious and capable of carrying out the threat.

Vivian asks Chloe if she's quite happy being a coward. Chloe says, "I'm quite happy that I didn't kill someone. Why is that so hard for you to understand?!?" Heeheehee Oh, Chloe, give it up it's like talking to a brick wall. A really confusing, delusional brick wall. Ooooooo Vivian makes a comment about Gregory saying that Chloe is an airhead. Chloe figures out that Vivian paid Greg to lie to Chloe about Daniel and Carly. Chloe figures out that Vivian was behind everything. This is going to be fun! :)

Mel is nervous about having doubts about Chloe. She doesn't want Daniel to be unhappy. He's coming over and Mel invites Carly to stay and wait for him. Aawww. I think Carly needs Mel right now, she's so upset about Chloe and the cheating and keeping something else from Daniel.

Gabby sings Sidney a song that Rafe used to sing to Grace and Sami gets choked up.

Nicole is hiding and hears Stefano and E.J. talking about how E.J. doesn't have any evidence to support Nicole framing Ari.

Chloe is not happy that Vivian used her. Vivian says, "Do you ever stop whining?" Vivian lays into Chloe about being weak and Chloe threatens to call the police. Vivian turns it back around holding her phone out, saying she has them on speed dial and that Chloe will have to explain her involvement too. Chloe tells Vivian to leave an opens the door to Carly hand poised to knock. Chloe tells Vivian again to leave and Carly (ever the protector) says "You heard her. Go!" She's glaring at Vivian and checking to make sure that Chloe is okay at the same time. Vivian leaves and Carly turns to her as Chloe closes the door. Leaving Carly and Vivian alone in the hall. Carly: "What did you do to her? Why does she want you to stay away from her and Daniel?" Vivian plays it off as just thanking her for a wedding gift. Carly Figures out that Vivian was responsible for making Chloe think that she and Daniel were having an affair, and is the reason for all everything that Chloe has been going through. Vivian says that she's not having this conversation and walks off. Carly follows her. Chloe recaps aloud to an empty room everything that we know she processed in the blink of an eye while talking to Vivian. Is that for the viewers who are a little slow on the uptake?

Vivian tells Carly that just because she promised to not harm her, that it doesn't mean she won't manipulate others to make Carly's life miserable.

Daniel tells Mel that even though they have a lot to catch up on that she will always be his daughter and he doesn't want her to feel replaced. He wants her to be okay. She squeals and shows him a t-shirt that says, "I'm the big sister" Oh.... this is sooooooo Philip's baby. :( Mel gives Daniel a baby book that's from the dad's perspective and she gets all choked up and teary eyed and he says that he hopes the baby turns out to be a lot like her and they hug. Aawwwww. Sweet father daughter moment.

And in true Carly fashion she blames herself for Chloe's baby maybe not being Daniel's and his life potentially being ruined since everything happened as a result of Vivian's plotting to get revenge against her.

Nicole is recording Stefano and E.J. talk about EVERYTHING that they've been keeping secret for the last year.

Okay in the re-shot scene It's clear that Melanie comes into the room after Chloe mentions that she slept with another man, then her closing the door and clearing her throat is actually what prompts Chloe to end the call to Nicole.

Jen is working on a scrapbook that she started a long time ago for Alice. She's worried she won't finish it in time. Ali is going to help her.

Stefano tells Maddie that she can have back everything that's hers. He says that he'll return everything untouched and unread she has his word. However Kate is reading a document that was in the envelope even as Maddie and Stefano speak.

Mike is delayed in Boston. Laura thinks that Alice is holding on just for Mike.

Jen is going to make something (doughnuts?) from Alice's special recipe. One that Alice never shared with Marie or Bill. She gives everyone a job including Ali who is charged with stirring in the love. Aawww. :) I love how they're including her.

Ha! Chloe tries to blame her indecision on her meds again. Mel says, "You're on antibiotics and maybe some aspirin. I don't think that's messing with your head." Yay Mel! :) Chloe brings up having doubts on your wedding day and pointedly asks Mel if she remembers. Now Chloe has gone from whining and hand wringing to manipulative with this situation.

Stefano tells Maddie that he has no interest in her family's affairs. She says, yes, they are very boring. Then I didn't catch the rest because when Stefano turned around it struck me just how amazing and handsome Joseph is looking lately. I never have thought Stefano to be charismatic, but in that shot it is very clear that he is indeed. Or the lighting for that scene was really really good. :D

Philip gets the message about the wedding. His phone was off earlier.

Mel asks Chloe is it's weird that Philip her old high school boyfriend is going to be her step-son-in-law. Chloe tells Mel that she's glad that she and Daniel found each other. Chloe tells her that she had a pretty bad foster family that even sent her back because she was too much trouble. So she says she would never stand in the way of their relationship. Mel visibly relaxes and says that she's so glad to hear that. She gives Chloe her necklace so she'll have something old and borrowed the new and blue being the flowers in a blue vase. Mel adds, "If you hurt him I will treat you like gum on the bottom of my shoe and I hate violence, so giiirl don't make me crush you." Chloe looks appropriately terrified. Mel is so her mother's daughter! :)

Chad and Mia walk into Maggie's as Maggie and Melissa are leaving. Chad tells Mia that he's not going to Wake Forrest, that he's staying in Salem. Mia is happy and kisses him.

Marie, Bill, Jen, Will and Laura are reminiscing.

Philip gets to the hospital and Mel tells him that he's not late that they are still waiting for the J.O.P. Daniel notices that Mel's necklace is missing and asks her about it. She lets him know that she loaned it to Chloe as her something borrowed. Daniel is so very proud of her and they hug. The J.O.P. is there and asks if they're ready. Daniel says that he has to do one more thing and asks Chloe if she's sure. She takes it as doubt and asks him if he's sure. She asks if he doesn't want to marry her. ... mid point commercial ...

Jen and Melissa looking through pictures. Jen has an Alice flashback. Aawww. I forgot she was a candy striper. :)

Chloe asks for a moment alone with Daniel. Mel and Philip and the J.O.P. leave the room.

She makes him promise that she's marrying her because he loves her not because he's afraid it will fall apart if it doesn't happen. Which is exactly what she's doing. He says he is doing it because he loves her.

Stefano is back home and tells Kate that they're done with Maddie. He tells her to pack up the other stuff and mail it to Maddie.

Dude! Lucas is using Alice guilt on Will to get him to move out of the mansion. Oh, Nathan says that Alice gave him Tom's medicine bag. Will tells Bill that he should have it. Bill says, "You want to go against the wishes of Alice Horton?!?" Hehehe. Cute. :)

Mel asks Philip if he wants to place odds on whether or not Chloe goes through with the wedding. Daniel pops out and says that they're ready.

Kate plays off her jumpiness as being upset about Alice and about not being able to see her son. Stefano doesn't look convinced but lets it drop.

Maddie goes to see Mia.

Carly goes to check on Chloe and asks Maxine for her chart. Maxine tells her that she might want to wait since Chloe is getting married as they speak.

Maxine comes in to call away the J.O.P. in the middle of the 'wedding'. Chloe is upset, they're 'halfway married' she pouts.

Will tells Stefano that he doesn't want to worry Alice and that maybe he should move out.

Kate is at the Pub and sees all of the Hortons through the window. Lucas comes out to talk to her. He invites Kate in but she says that she doesn't want to do that to Laura.

The scrapbook is done and Jen thanks Ali for all her help. Mike calls. He's in town.

Chloe is getting antsy that Kevin isn't back yet. When the door opens Daniel thinks that he's come back, but it's Carly. Philip is all "deja vu all over again" and Carly says, "Except this time I'm going to say what I came here to say."

Kayla! Maggie falls apart in Melissa's arms. This is so hard for her so soon after losing Mickey.

Dr Baker did not know that Brady was an addict.

Arianna tells Brady that if he slipped it's okay. That he doesn't have to protect her. Now he knows how she felt with the not believing.

Daniel tells Mel that the wedding is postponed.

Father Matt comes to see Chloe and is not happy that she lied to Daniel again. He says that he won't be party to her piling one sin on top of another. She's afraid he'll tell Daniel that she slept with Philip.

The guard puts Ari back in her cell before she and Brady can work it out.

Nicole says that if Dr Baker puts Brady in danger again then she'll want his head on a platter.

Melissa has an Alice flashback. Awwww.

Stephanie and Kayla talking. Steph tells Kayla that she and Nathan are serious and have worked through many obstacles.

Brady is ready to leave the hospital even against doctor's orders. He needs to get to Arianna.

Mel and Daniel talking about why the wedding was postponed.

Father Matt has to leave for Chicago and will be gone for 2 weeks. Very convenient for Chloe. Father Matt tells her that she doesn't have a choice in the matter that she must tell Daniel the truth. Soooo question. Why are some people all outraged that Carly has been telling Chloe to tell the truth, but nobody bats an eyelash when Father Matt does?

Oh! Melissa and Maggie are about to get into it I think. Melissa is glad that Nathan is with Stephanie and says that 'that other girl' Melanie was trouble. Maggie does not look happy about that.

Daniel tells an apprehensive Mel that Nathan is not at the Horton house and is she wants to go check on Maggie that now might be a good time.

Daniel brings Maggie news about her illness. This doesn't look good. :(

Nicole goes in to see Chloe. After Chloe tells her about the elevator falling Nicole says that she's been so caught up in her own world that she's not watched the news or even called into the station. Chloe says, if you didn't know what happened then why are you here? Nicole tells her that she found Brady with drugs and alcohol in his system. She says that she believes him when he says that it was done to him. Chloe says, why unless you know something? Then asks Nicole what she knows. Chloe can be very perceptive sometimes.

Daniel actually brought Maggie some good news. The new meds they tried have put her Myasthenia Gravis back in remission.

Maggie tells Melanie the good news. She says that she wishes she could stay and help out. Maggie says that she is here, and Mel points out that she can't stay though. She says that she's like poison to that house.

Ari thinks that Brady isn't admitting that he was drinking because he doesn't want to blame her. He points out that she doesn't believe him and that it's not a split second flicker like he had. He said that this feels like a real end.

Maggie thinks that Mel is uncomfortable at the Horton's because she thinks they perfect. Maggie says that they aren't perfect and that if the were they shouldn't judge her.

Chloe just told Nicole that she slept with someone because she thought Daniel and Carly were having an affair. Nicole has a plan to get around Carly's insistence that Chloe tell Daniel. Nicole tells Chloe that she needs to get married now. She says that she'll take care of Carly.

Mel is leaving the Horton house and sees Nathan. / Ari wants to call Brady and apologize but she's out of phone calls for the day. / Nicole goes to check on Brady and he thanks her for believing in him. / Daniel goes back to Chloe's room. She tells him that they can call the J.O.P. that he knows or have the hospital chaplain do it and they can get married now. He calls her on the abrupt change and says. She says she wasn't thinking clearly because of the pain meds. He tells her that she's got a head injury and isn't allowed pain meds. He wants to know what's going on and wants to know now.

Aaaw, little Giovanni misses Rafe and won't take off his tiny FBI jacket.

Rafe and Shane are bored and locked in a cell. I missed Shane. I didn't realize that until now. Charles is awesome! :)

E.J. is apologizing to Arianna that she has to stay another night in jail. She jokes that at least it's an upgrade from 'Statesville' because she's got a single bed cell.

Lexi is at the hospital and comes upon Carly contemplating (yet again) telling Daniel.

Chloe calls Vivian's guy. He's got everything in place and tells her he'll text her when it's ready and she just has to get Carly on the the elevator then. Hmmm? She's very reluctant to to it.

Lexi offers to stay on shift for Carly so that Carly can take care of whatever she needs to do in person. She's still debating whether she should be the one to tell Daniel. Aaaaaaand Chloe is still debating whether she wants to go ahead with Vivian's plan. Lots of indecision going on here.

Oooo Arianna! At least we know what she wants. She wants out of jail and for Brady to have believed her. :D E.J. is apprehensive of having to trust Nicole to do the right thing. Arianna is giving reasons that Nicole won't back out, E.J. is giving reasons why she would. I can't like E.J. it goes against everything that I've felt about him so far. His being nice to Arianna is making that difficult. :D

Nicole is so manipulating Brady. That's nothing new. :)

Chloe is talking to the voices in her head. She decides for the moment to try and call off Vivian's guy.

Okay, Shane and Rafe are REALLY bored. Shane is musing that his very expensive watch (so expensive that it has a name I can't remember or pronounce) which the guards took was probably sold for 50 pesos.

E.J. is home Sydney has gotten so big! Giovanni is ignoring E.J. he's drawing a picture of the family. Sami tells him he'll have to add Will and Ali and he says, "And Rafe" Sami is unsure about that.

Carly decides not to go tell Daniel so she lets Lexi leave.

Chloe can't get through to Vivian's guy so she calls Vivian and starts to leave a voice mail. Chloe is about to bolt to stop Carly from getting on the elevator and when she opens the door she runs into Daniel.

Um the pillow case on Shane's bunk looks like it's sateen or some kind of shiny cotton. How'd they end up in a luxury jail for political prisoners? I don't think Rafe and Shane would be treated as nicely by the CIA here. lol

Sami is telling E.J. what a good guy he is when they hear Giovanni scream and they rush off to investigate.

Nicole is putting doubts into Brady's mind as to the date he wrote the check. Um, does he not have a duplicate checkbook? D.A.Woods overhears Nicole telling Brady "We can lie to the police." Good times. ::eyeroll:

Okay, Giovanni ran down the stairs and fell. Now he may have a concussion but he's okay. E.J. is consoling Sami.

Nicole tells D.A. Woods that he shouldn't have been listening in on a private conversation (at the Brady pub fyi) because it's a free country. He laughs and tells her that next time she's thinking about committing perjury to stay home and whisper. Ha! Love it!. He then tells Brady that what he heard is enough to taint the testimony and that now Arianna doesn't have an alibi. Nice work Nicole.

Daniel hears Carly's voice mail to call her. Chloe steps off the elevator at the hospital on her way to keep Carly from dying. She tells Carly that she has to talk to her right now.

D.A. Woods goes to see Arianna and tells her that her alibi is shot. Um, being a victim should he even bee allowed to see her (the suspect) in private, D.A. or not?

Carly leads Chloe to the lounge/waiting room (wow a private place to have a conversation in Salem?!?) and they continue the discussion from earlier. Carly says, "What happened? It sounded like you threw it (her cell phone) across the room." Heehee. :) 'Cause that's what happened. Then they continue Carly finally getting out "If you don't tell Daniel the truth before you get married then you'll regret it." Chloe pauses and seems to ponder this. Meanwhile Daniel is wondering why Carly isn't answering her phone. ....Oh no! Bad thought. What if Daniel is on the elevator heading to look for Carly when Vivian's guy does his thing? Hhhmmmm? Can't wait to see if that happens. Oh, Chloe didn't have a moment of clarity she's upset at Carly for trying to run her life. Chloe brings up the 'crazy' again. Carly is trying to say that that's not what she's saying. Chloe says, "What if I really am crazy you should be careful. Don't mess with the crazy woman." Carly says, "Are you threatening me? Don't! This conversation is over." Wow she's just lost the sympathy that she had for Chloe's plight. She walks away and Chloe follows her. She's getting ready to get on the elevator and Chloe stops her asking her to promise to not tell Daniel. Carly doesn't promise and Chloe goes back to contemplating letting Vivian's plan happen.

Shane and Rafe are fighting to create a distraction for the guards. Hehe.

Carly is trying to figure out why Chloe is thinking these things. Chloe says that Carly's done this before convinced people that someone is crazy to get them out of the way. Chloe gets the signal and lets Carly wait for the elevator.
